This is a verified non ethanol gas E0 location. Many of the large Buc-ees locations carry this gas near Houston. The smaller Buc-ees do not. E0 is required for classic cars, boats, motorcycles, lawn equipment and gasoline powered equipment that sits, like generators. Whenever going to Surfside we stop here for a snack and an XL drink. Typically this place is clean and the ice, drink and tea machines are working. I usually get a brisket sandwich. Always yummy! This time I decided to get the bean, beef cheese burrito. Here's my question for this $7.99 concoction- where's the beef and cheese? Beans beans beans. And a question I've had for every Buccees... Stopped here on the way to Freeport for the week and needed to get gas. Gas was decent price and I was able to get some food to go. Was hoping they had staples like creamers but they did not. Ended up getting individual creamer for 10 cents each which was fine. I also got the beef cheesesteaks burrito which was pretty good. Full of meat and tortilla tasted authentic. read more

I have been one of their customers for 40 years now. I lived right next door to the first one ever built in Lake Jackson. I am on the verge of never doing business with a Bucky's ever again. I'm using voice text so forgive any misspelling. I also cannot proofread this right now so try to pay attention to what I mean. I walk into a Bucky's in Angleton the other night and a lady is taking barbecue sandwiches in a cart with her back to the back. I asked if I can still buy some and she tries to say yes, and the manager blurts out no he cannot take those back. And she does that she is told. I explained to them that I spend a few hundred bucks a week in this place, and that as many of their employees know I work late and that's my dinner sometimes. So then I'm trying to call them, and no matter how you try to call, you can't call the store. You can't speak to a human being. Which means there is no customer service. Try to call Bucky's. It will tell you repeatedly to get on their website. There's nothing you can do on their website. It's useless. They are stating blatantly that they do not care about customer satisfaction. They are telling everyone through their actions that they are big enough now to where they don't have to worry about making people happy, all they have to do is have pretty restrooms and idiots will buy crap with cartoon beavers on them. I knew Beaver applin Before he got it this big. You can't buy Gatorade in a Buc-ee's anymore. You can't buy a canned Dr pepper. I understood the whole 18 wheeler boycott. But now, loves is a much friendlier store. They care much more about customer satisfaction. They've got everything that Bucky's has to offer and then some. And I think Bucky's is about due to need to be put in its place. You're big enough to leave some barbecue sandwiches out under the heat lamps for some people to pick up that are on the road and hungry. You're big enough to have a phone number where they can call you and see if you have what they need before making the trip. Maybe just a little bit of gratitude towards the people that helped get you where you are. I asked people who are so loyal to them right now, what are you being loyal to? Being overcharged for things? Being treated like a second rate citizen because you work late shifts? read more

As much as I like this company, it's management is unresponsive AF. If you have a problem, good luck with getting ANY response. There's no one to talk to, no phone number to call, no social media account to contact, nothing. I've only ever seen one (1) manager, over the years, in any of their stores. There are days that I wonder if there are managers, supervisors, or whatever. As bright and smiling as the employees are, they maintain a "stay in my lane" attitude, and don't interact with their teammates. If you need something remedied , you'd have a better chance by talking to a dead horse. The three star is only because of how clean the store is and cheerful the employees are. I have been to Buc-ee's from SanAntonio Bay Town. This is the only one I have had a bad experience at. I was hungry so I stopped in for some Buc-ee's famous potato chips and a order of frys. They had no orders when I placed my order. It took them 4 minutes to even start on my order. They cooked the chips first and when they were done they dropped the frys in. It took them over 14 minutes to complete my order. read more

Cinnamon Roll is great here, with more pecans on top than most places, and the pecans are very fresh (from Richmond, TX?). They have Kolaches, dips, jerky, and other foods in the convenience store. The gas price seems on par with others in the area, so why not stop and get a treat (again... the cinnamon roll). The service is friendly, too. A good Texas business here. P.S. Does anyone remember Stuckey's? Back in the 50's and 60's they were located along freeways between major cities. I wonder if that was the inspiration for this place's name. read more

Never buy a charger from here. They weren't will to find way a to give me back my money or store credit. Think twice before buying one here. It is also a small Bucees and nothing like the big ones. You will be disappointed if you've been to the big ones. read more

There's nothing wrong with this Buc-Ee's. Nothing at all. Plenty of gas pumps, plenty of parking. Lots of staff around. The store was immaculate and very clean. The ONE drawback - it's not the same size as all the other Buc-Ee's. It's about 1/3rd as large. So, it's essentially a min version. It's got some of the same stuff, but other Buc-Ee's you can wander around and stretch your legs for a good 30 minutes. This ones only about 5 minutes big. read more

Don't go across the street to Chevron. This place has everything. Cleanliness, friendliness, service, dog walk area, food, sweet tooth heaven, and diesel fuel. The restrooms are great and clean. The owners may be difficult people to deal with on a day to day basis but what can you say bad about the establishment? This place really has their shit together and their entire business process and procedures are awe inspiring. They keep the place clean, supply damn near anything you could possibly want, their gas is competitive, they actually have decent car washes, and you rarely ever wait in line when you're ready to check out.
