It's big! It's got clean bathrooms and lots of gas pumps. It's a Buccee's! Buc-ee's was founded in 1982 in Clute in Texas. It has grown from a modest gas station into a chain of travel centers. We like them for their large facilities, lots of gas pumps, and excellent bathroom cleanliness. As of 2024, Buc-ee's operates 50 locations across nine states, with 35 in Texas and two in Georgia. It is located to the southeast of Calhoun, Ga. This facility sits to the east of I 75 and south of the S Calhoun Bypass road. Like most Buccee locations, it is a large travel center. Namely, if you have never been to one of these, you are in for a treat. Most of the locations sport over 100 gas pumps and each of the ones that I have visited are a destination in itself. This one was no different. It had a great food selection with their own fresh BBQ sandwiches, brisket tacos, and beaver nuggets along with prepackaged food and various drink options. Their jerky bar offers an impressive variety, and the bakery serves up fresh kolaches and homemade fudge that are hard to resist. If you need a quick caffeine fix, their coffee station is well-stocked with various brews usually, ironically, right next to the restrooms. Beyond food, Buc-ee's is a shopper's paradise. It was very busy, but every location I have been to is busy due to their popularity. They have Georgia-themed and Buc-ee's themed merchandise, outdoor gear, or other unique items. The restrooms are famously clean and live up to their reputation as some of the best you'll find on any road trip. Overall, if you need to stop, this is a great choice along the way.

Ooohhhh Buc-ee's...the magic that you have always makes roadtrips even more special! I mean it's not just a place to go get gas and maybe grab a bag of chips to hold your hunger at bay while roadtripping...its an experience. We hadn't been to this location so we were excited to stop in and grab some of our Buc-ee's favs. It was freezing out but that didn't stop anyone from getting gas as all the pumps were full and going inside to experience all the goodness. We filled up the tank then headed inside and I could barely get in the door before they almost got me with the cute insulated cooler for $19 but I resisted and kept my focus on finding my favorite item...the nut sampler ($9.99) with cinnamon pecans, praline pecans, candied cashews and almonds. I cannot keep myself from buying them anytime we visit. While the place was booming, we quickly made our way to the bathroom which were all sooooo clean and I loved the green/red lights above each stalled. This made it so easy to know which ones were vacant or occupied and the signage on the door made it even easier to know which one to use. We made our way back to the hustle and bustle and grabbed various snacks, breakfast brisket tacos, nut samplers...which were all very cost friendly and made our way to the register where a sweet lady gave the kiddos a bunch of stickers and just had such a friendly disposition. I'd say we were in and out in about 10 minutes. While its expansive, we always come with a plan of attack to grab what we need...then we get in the car and talk about what we need to try the next time lol! Overall a wonderful experience and happy that we got a chance to stop by this location!

We found this Buc-Ees during our drive and stopped to check it out. Always a fun place to visit. Tons of purchasing options from clothing to food and anything in between. This time we tried candied walnuts and pecans. Yum . My son really likes all the Buc-Ees merchandise. My husband got some snacks and coffees for the road trip . Useful, clean, inviting place . Always love stopping at a good Buc-Ees.

Finally had a chance to check out Buc-ee's to see what all the hype was about, and overall, it was a pretty good experience. Huge place, tons of gas pumps, very clean, and the staff was professional. I tried the beef brisket sandwich, peach cobbler, and iced tea. Definitely a little overpriced though -- the brisket sandwich was around $9 and the peach cobbler was about $3 -- but I guess you get what you pay for. This one was up near Calhoun, so almost an hour from where I live, but at least I got to experience it for myself. No military discount, unfortunately. Still, if I'm on the road and need gas or a quick stop, I'd probably pull in there again.

We stop here on the way to and from our commute between Louisville and Atlanta several times a year. Clean restrooms. Easy gas fill ups with no waiting for a pump. Nice stop to allow our dog a bathroom break and a treat. Great brisket sandwiches. Sometimes indulge and purchase fudge. Top reason: Purchase my requisite jars of both candied jalapeños and pickled quail eggs to have on hand at home to assuage my occasional cravings.

Just as imagined ~ beaver breathtaking! It was a nice rest stop after driving all day. Similar to European countries having these over the top gas stations with a huge variety of fresh made food, comfortable rest area, tons of Buc-ee merch and of course gasoline. The drawback is spending too much time loitering inside and not wanting to get back in the car lol

Lovely road trip stop experience! Clean and very big for a gas station to stop and rest for a bit where it offers many different delicious food options. Everyone in here seems excited just as myself. Got the fried chicken sandwich and it was delicious! Will definitelg stop here again everytime I have to pass by Richmond.

I love this gas station!! Always fresh food, I got a salad and sandwich. They were not stingy with the meat on both. Everything is fresh and a good price. The service is also fast!

Buc-ee's number 2 out of 4 that we visited on our way south. We stopped again on our way back north, lol. We spent more than we should have on brisket, but dang, it was GOOD brisket! We also grabbed some merch, breakfast burritos and tacos, and pecan pralines. MY GOD, THE PRALINES!!!! Do yourself a favor and buy like, 2-5 boxes. It is incredible! We got some gas here too, but whatever. No one cares about that. Long live Buc-ee's! 127/2025

We were acting like we were going to Disney World upon entering Buc-ee's lol. So excited to try it and it did not disappoint. I could have ran my credit card up in this place but spent around 40 bucks. We tried the brisket, pulled port Mac and cheese, Buc-ee nuts, glazed pecans and a chocolate chip cookie. So good! We ate stuff in the parking lot lol. Can't wait to go back again.

Usually, at least for me, my decision upon which brand to use depends solely upon what lays inside the convenience store of that gas station. When in northern Georgia, I find myself seeking out QT gas stations when my car is telling me that it is time to fill up. The reason is, as stated before, what lays beyond the doors to the store within. Not only are there surprisingly good hot dogs and toppings on rollers, but a food counter, a long row of coffee, iced tea, and soda selections, as well as the usual gas station offerings. Service is also obviously a corporate focus, you are created upon entry and the crew works diligently to meet the customer's needs, certainly a challenge. I recommend finding one if you are in Georgia. I am confident that you will seek them out time and time again when in their area.
