As a loyal Buc-ee's fan, I've made countless stops here, going out of my way to fill up and stock up on essentials for every road trip... going out of my way to support buc-ee's even if they're not near me on every day gas fill ups. This year, I was thrilled to upgrade to an EV (Cadillac Lyriq), excited to continue supporting Buc-ee's with each charge! But I was genuinely disappointed to discover that the charging stations only cater to Tesla vehicles, leaving other EV owners like myself without an option. Buc-ee's has always been a leader in convenience and community, and now there's an opportunity to lead in sustainability too. By expanding charging options to include all EV brands, Buc-ee's could welcome a broader base of eco-conscious travelers, making a substantial impact on the environment while attracting more loyal customers. I look forward to the day when I can pull into Buc-ee's, knowing they've committed to supporting all EV drivers. What can I say? This store is amazing! It was packed with travelers for the holiday weekend yet things ran smoothly as always. Unlike previous visits to locations around the state, this time I was not in a hurry. So, I was able to browse through the Home section. Oh my goodness it was incredible! Totally unique finds at good prices were throughout the department. This time I picked up a cool stone coaster for my desk. There were also some really cute guacamole and taco serving dishes, too. This has always been a place of peace and happiness. I guess Buc-ee's has gotten so big in their britches that they can now change their return and exchange policy with a NO policy. I'm beyond confused on the change in customer service and support. I bought a home wear item on a trip.. turned out it had a flaw in its manufacturing. I noticed once home and unboxed it. Thinking this wasn't a dramatic thing i went days later to exchange it. I was denied replacing it or any thing to rectify the issue. Food was great. We had all kinds of different meat sandwiches. Each was fresh and tasted good. My wife thought that the sandwiches were too sweet for a barbecue sandwich. I do not mind the sweetness. Prices were reasonable. Lines were short with no waiting. There was no place to sit and eat. We brought out our own folding chairs and ate outside near our parked car in an area with shade. There were no pickles or onions available for sandwiches. Soft drink selection was huge. A large drink was $1.19 but there were no refills available. Bathrooms were five stars-clean. What I hope would change is that there needs to be some tables and chairs where we can take our food. Gas was much cheaper than anywhere else and the price was never advertised. $3.08 for regular. Yummmmm! Got a care package from a friend who moved to Texas and I'm so happy she was able to send me some goodies to try. Watching Mikey Chen eating the Buc-ees snacks made my mouth drool. The Buc-ees Nuggets that are covered in a sweet crunchy caramel like coating, that snack is dangerously addicting. My husband and I polished those off like raccoons. The Bohemian garlic jerky is flavorful, it's not the softer moist type of dried meat, it's that chewier real jerky that can get stuck between your teeth which is perfect. Luckily the garlic isn't overwhelming, it's in there but more subtle. The candied jalapeno jam on a crostini with some burrata or goat cheese it's out of this world. It'll make ya sweat a bit but damn, it's good. The cinnamon honey butter just needs to be in your life and pantry for life. We had it on waffles, toast, bagels ya name it we smeared it on. The Nug-ees are completely worth it crunchy and flavored intensely for that real bad snack attack at 11pm. If I ever visit in person, I'm gonna tell ya now an entire suitcase would be dedicated to bringing back half the stores worth of snacks. Just saying. read more

Even on a holiday weekend, this place still offers the best restrooms. In this case, the line for the ladies was curving towards the back end of the store. Attendants were both outside and inside the restrooms to handle the crowds. It moved well - and I'd like to think that folks respect the space enough to tidy up after themselves while is how the stalls stay neat. Probably too much information here, but lets face it - you stop here for the restrooms right?!?! Prices have gone up on many of the items - plus you can no longer get some things - large beaver chips for the car is one. Salads are still pretty good, but it can be a hit or miss on the smaller fruit cups/veggie cups because those items don't keep long. Even with hundreds of cars rolling in and out, parking is plenty, gas pumps are everywhere and they still offer a greeting as you come in. read more

Stopped here on our trek from San Antonio to Ft. Worth. Typical Buc-ees experience: lots of clean bathrooms, rarely a wait at the pumps, fresh food & drinks, a gift for every occasion. I loveeeeee Buc-ee's! I always make it a point to drive the 40 min-ish while visiting my friend in San Antonio. I don't know if there is another gas station this big? I know they have several Buc-ee's around the country but glad I came to check this one out! This is huge convenience store for everything if you are on the road. They have theme named brand foods, snacks, clothes, even furniture, etc. Open 24 hours so its very convenient. I started going to Buccees' since its inception in Lake Jackson,Texas in 82-83..it was great! no complaints, even the small bathrooms were pretty neat, which are to date still very clean and the edible prices were fair..however,time has not been kind to the Buccees consumers.. .. the past 5-7 plus years it's iconic WOW factor has diminished..at least with me.. ..Now to the why(s)... -fuel pumps are to fuel the vehicles..so after folks complete their fuel routine many of them leave their vehicles at the pump..and SHOP!!..WTH!!..I've had to look for a empty pump locations numerous times as I don't see anyone fueling or by their vehicles at the pumps..this has been going on the last 2-3 years..circling around for 15+ mins is a bit long I say..it's a little frustrating as I have left Buccees more than once to go elsewhere ..I have mentioned this numerous times to many of the managers(white shirts) and only thing they say is "it's been addressed"..for 3+ years??..guess corporate has or has not recieved the "addressed" message or..doesn't..know.. how..to..handle this?? -- I've bought items many times when traveling and have tried to return some item(s) within a few days up to 10 days at the most to the closest location to where I live..BUC-CEE'S WILL NOT ACCEPT ITEMS to be returned!!! Except..to the place where it was originally bought..which was over 100 miles away..in some cases it was 200+ miles away..if this is a policy, it needs to be addressed prior to the consumer buying an item at the check out..a sign/receipt/verbally(as a reminder) if it's there and should be apparent..period!! Many other corporate companies allow for this..at any location..seems to be pretty simple..yeah, it may be that it costs for a return, but the high priced item it should be imbedded in that cost return... ..so help the consumer, accept the items back!!..any location!!! it's the same company, yes?!?!?..aren't the Buccees consumer the ones that make the business thrive??... It's hard not to pick up a souvenir or some kinda merch while you're in here and splurge on some of their food offerings All of their in house staples -- the jerky, the merengues, baked goods, premade deli sandwiches are top notch. They chop up their bbq freshly right in front of you. That said, their giant barbecue sandwich had no right to slap as hard as it did. It's a great place to stretch out, get some fuel for the vehicle and the body, and to use the always clean bathrooms. This one is definitely clean, and it's definitely busy. My boyfriend was raving about Buc-ee's while we were planning our trip to Texas and everything he told me was true. This is a huge gas station with a large convenience store inside. We got some of their famous beef jerky and to go sandwiches. The first time we went while on the way to Austin, I got the bbq brisket sandwich which was soooo good (ask for extra bbq sauce). I bought snacks to take back home to my coworkers and there was so much to choose from. I had to get a buc-ee shirt and some other snacks for our road trip. I was able to get their fudge which was made in the store. Their cinnabun was also very good. This location also had an award for best bathroom a few years ago. Wow! This was the largest and most impressive gas station I've ever seen! It's HUGE! And they have everything from hunting supplies to grilling supplies (even grills) to making their own jerky, brisket and smoked meats for their breakfasts and lunches. They have lots of shopping inside, such as gifts, Christmas and seasonal and clothing too! Definitely worth a stop! And, by the way, they sell gas too... Lots of it! More pumps than I've ever seen! We drove from California to Charlotte that we passed by Texas just to visit the biggest gas station in the world. I guessed there could be 24/7 restaurant. Nope. We arrived by midnight. Their hot food sections were all closed. Yes, the place is real big and the store is more like super stores with almost everything you need on the road. As it was late in the night, only snacks were available. Their toilets are so clean with lots of arts for sales. I took many videos but can't upload here. Buc-ee's will never fail to disappoint - I had to drive down to San Antonio from Dallas for some work/business and I was pleasantly surprised (but not really because there's a Buc-ee's everywhere) to see a Buc-ee's. Buc-ee's is always consistent with the service and products they deliver. Food will always be great and the staff is also super pleasant. I had some first-time Buc-ee's visitors that wanted to check out, and of course - they were mesmerized at the Buc-ee's. We probably spent at least an hour here looking around and they were also wanting to get some merch. Speaking of merch, Buc-ee's merch is soo cheap and honestly it's pretty appealing. The branding is really good that I have purchased multiple Hawaiian shirts and t-shirts here before. And if apparel isn't your thing, they have other merchandise that you can shop from as well. I truly do love Buc-ee's and while I don't live in Texas anymore, I do hope that I can return to a Buc-ee's one day because it truly is the superior gas station. read more

Okay we had heard all about Buc-Cee's and seen the vlogs on YouTube raving about how amazing it is so we had to go when we were visiting Friends in Texas. Our Friends live in Boerne so they took us to the location in New Braunfels, Texas. My daughter and I were super excited to go! The outside of it has TONS of parking spaces and gas pumps so don't worry about not being able to park or fill up. I was told this place was the Disneyland of gas stations and to make sure to get the infamous brisket sandwich. Walking in I was immediately in awe by how big the store was and I started checking out all the items which include varieties of jerky, saltwater taffy, candy, popcorn, trail mixes, etc. Smack dab in the middle of the store they have a "Round Up" area where workers are busy carving and slicing fresh Brisket, Turkey, Sausage and Pulled Pork. We grabbed a few of the brisket sandwiches for later. They also have fresh sweets and we indulged in the homemade fudge! The Salted Caramel fudge is to die for. Literally. Along the wall they have several self serve fountain drink and coffee stations also. Towards the back of they have a lot of cool and unique items for your home etc. I saw so many things I liked and we grabbed a wooden sign with a picture of the state of Texas and it says "Home". We also got two beautiful dream catchers along with other items. Oh they have a HUGE merchandise section with all kinds of Buc-Cee's apparel and they are also known for their impeccably clean bathrooms.
