So much to see, so much to choose from when it comes to snacks and sandwiches and such, and plenty of clean and sparkling facilities if you need to relieve yourself! Will I be back? Having been to a pretty good number of Buc-ee's along the I-10 corridor, traveling between California and Florida, I can say without hesitation that this is one of the nicer facilities. Many of the staff are very nice and the store is clean and well organized. Of course I have to mention just how awesome the restrooms are. These are the cleanest public restrooms I've been in hands down. Because most locations are quite busy it's important to keep an eye on the items you're purchasing and what exactly is being rung up. This visit I was charged for an extra item. Thankfully it was one of the lesser expensive things, around $2.00, so it doesn't upset me. But I will be more cognizant in the future. read more

Buc-ee's was so good that we stopped twice--once on the way to New Orleans and again on the way home. On the first visit, I had to try the famous brisket sandwich, and it absolutely lived up to the hype. The brisket was tender, smoky, and packed with flavor. You could tell it was freshly prepared, with juicy meat piled high on a soft bun. Paired with a box of their fresh chips, it made for an excellent road trip lunch. On the way back, I switched things up and ordered the brisket tacos with tater tots. They were incredible--loaded with that same flavorful brisket and full of bold, smoky goodness. The tots were crispy, hot, and the perfect side. Definitely one of those meals that has you planning your next stop before you've even left. Of course, Buc-ee's is more than just the food. We spent some time wandering through the massive store, picked up a few shirts as souvenirs, and grabbed some Beaver Nuggets for the ride home. The whole place is an experience--clean, fun, and unlike any other travel stop you'll find. Can't wait for the Buc-ee's closer to home to be finished. This isn't just a visit or a stop...Buc-ee's is an EVENT! The place is super huge...it's like Sam's Club and Pilot had a baby together. The gas is good, but they have so much cool stuff! I got a hat and a hoodie and the rest of the family got stuff too. We also stocked up on grub: I highly recommend the pulled pork sandwich, and my daughters say the same about their brisket sandwiches. I tried to settle the dispute and have 1/2 of each sandwich. This Buc-ee's seemed quite large or maybe this time I saw more varied merchandise. Hungry? You're bound to find something to your liking. We got 3 large cups to sip on our drive. You get the Disney World of gas stations... if Disney had 100 gas pumps, brisket carving stations, and a beaver mascot judging your snack choices. I pulled in thinking I'd grab a quick fill up and maybe a sad bag of chips. Rookie mistake. This place is the size of a small country. You don't "stop" at Buc-ee's. You commit to it. First off, the pumps. There are so many pumps you start wondering if they're preparing for the apocalypse. No waiting, no nonsense, just pull up and go. Then you walk inside and it hits you. This is not a convenience store. This is a full blown experience. It's like Walmart, a barbecue joint, and a souvenir shop had a very successful child. And then you hear it... "Fresh brisket on the board!" That's not an announcement. That's a call to action. The barbecue is legit. Not "good for a gas station" good. Just straight up good. The turkey sandwich is my go to, piled high and paired with those fresh cooked chips that disappear faster than your willpower. You walk in thinking snack. You walk out with a full meal and possibly a dessert you didn't plan on. Now let's talk about the walls. Not shelves. Walls. Wall of jerky. Wall of trail mix. Wall of fountain drinks. It's like they asked, "How much is too much?" and then doubled it. The store is spotless. And I mean spotless. The bathrooms deserve their own five star review. This review is a reminder to myself to stop coming to this particular location. I've never not had an overly long and difficult time trying to get out of here after I'm done tanking up and taking a dump. Whatever municipality this is in needs to put in traffic lights already, and Buc-ee's themselves would do well to create some kind of traffic flow within its own lot. It's never not clogged and nobody down here ever lets anyone merge in. Just an absolute waste of time. Isn't everybody over this chain by now? Edit: another thing, most every time I get gasoline here I have to go in to the absolute cluster of the store to get my receipt because there's never any paper at the pump. read more

So many out of order and lady working in there was SO rude to everyone. Longest line I have EVER been in- well ONLY line I have ever been in at a B. From Texas, have been going to B for a VERY long time. Parking lot an absolute nightmare and parking lot guy was yelling at us and being so rude! How is this a Buc-ee's?! This is probably the cleanest gas station I've ever seen. It was as clean as a Chick-fil-a! The food here was great. Me and my family all got breakfast burritos which were super good. I wish I could have gotten one of the burgers there because they looked pretty good too. The inside was super clean. I was so impressed by how clean the bathroom was. Great ambiance! However, the bathroom staff was causing a lot of confusion cleaning the stalls. The quality of the food has completely gone downhill the last year. There also should be some sort of management of the large amount of people coming into and out of the building and parking lot bc it is absolute chaos every time. I just love Buc-ee's! Safe place to stop and refuel for a road trip. All employees are super friendly and helpful. This place literally has everything you need and want: gas, clothes, snacks, meals, souvenirs. If you can think of it, I'm sure Buc-ee's has it. When I go, I always stop to get gas first. They have hundreds of stations so you will not have to wait for a pump. After I gas up, I go inside to use the restroom. The restrooms are always clean! After I take care of that I grab a buggy cause it's time for the fun to begin. I'm always trying new snack/food items but here are my Buc-ee's staples: chopped brisket sandwich, pulled pork sandwich, sour cherry candy, and beaver nuggets. These are my staples, but I always leave with way more. Next time you're on the road and pass a location you have to stop and give them a try, it's an experience. read more

The Texas Cheesesteak Burrito was hands down the star--packed with tender brisket, grilled peppers and onions, gooey melted cheese, and wrapped in a warm tortilla. I also tried the 3-Meat Brisket Sandwich, stacked with juicy sliced brisket, sausage, and pulled pork--smoky, flavorful, and filling. Don't forget to enjoy it with a Coke Zero and load up on condiments and toppings--sour cream, cheese, pickles, and jalapeños make everything even better. The Buc-ee's experience itself was great too. Everyone was super friendly and even greeted us in and out the door. The restrooms were spotless (as expected), and the Tesla charging stations were quick and empty.
