It turned out when Strite's took a look at it, that all it needed was a new timing belt kit, and a couple other reasonable parts for a Honda Odyssey from 2014 at 135k miles. I am extremely pleased with the level of expertise, friendliness, and the fact that they were honest, fair, and had a fast turnaround on the work. I would not hesitate to refer Strite's to friends and family, and I will definitely return to them for work on my vehicles in the future.

When I picked up the car, it was pulling hard to the right, scraping during turns, and howling at speed. I left a voicemail after the test drive to report the issues and explain I would be having the work inspected by a third-party shop before proceeding. Instead of replying directly to me, they reached out to family members of mine. That alone was enough to permanently damage my trust in how this business handles communication and conflict. Over the following weeks: - A tire shop found the subframe was misaligned, bolts were improperly torqued, and the alignment was far off. - After multiple visits to resolve it, I still had to go to a GM dealership twice to get the vehicle driving straight. - All in all, it cost me over 15 hours and additional repair bills -- just to fix strites work When I tried to resolve things formally, the owner did not dispute any of the details. Instead, I received a religiously framed email, offering a lump sum payout if I met him in person at a specific time. The tone and content were so unprofessional and manipulative that I can't even include them here -- because some platforms flag or reject the wording even though it's his. I have the full email saved and available upon request. Even on Better Business Bureau, the owner publicly used similar language -- asking readers to "continue to find life and meaning in Jesus Christ" in response to my report. That further reinforces my concerns. Summary: In my experience, Strite's Garage: - Performed serious suspension work incorrectly - Billed me for unauthorized work I never asked for - Billed me for work not done - Avoided accountability - Reached out to third parties instead of communicating with me - Attempted to resolve things through religious and emotional pressure
