Customer service is awful. Employees lack knowledge of products when asked and are super judgemental of patrons that walk in. I guess if you don't fit a certain demographic don't expect to get any help. read more

I bought a pair of boots here for work and they started to fall apart in less than three (3) weeks. I brought in the boots in their original box and with the receipt. I explained the situation to the employee at the register, and asked for my money back. The store sold me a defective product (and wasted my time in doing so). The manager came out. She began to (silently) "inspect" the shoes. After quite some time, she acted like she was doing me a huge favor by offering me store credit. I said I don't want store credit, I want my money back. She became stand-offish and said, "Well this is clearly wear and tear." I was taken aback. I emphasized that I only wore the shoes inside, on carpet, and that I had a desk job. I even told her I had bought my previous pair of work shoes at The Buckle, and that they lasted a year. She proceeded to question me, "Well how do you sit at work?" I couldn't believe she was treating me in such a way. After she could tell I was upset, she began to panic and told me she would call Corporate to see if there was anything she could do. She asked me to come back in ~15 minutes, and I did. When I returned she acted like my best friend, told me she was able to "pull some strings" and get me my money back. She explained that the company who manufactured the shoes was given "a warning" by Corporate (like I care?). In short, I took my money back and left. And I'll never be back. Well, where do I start.. I never write reviews ever, but this is so necessary. The manger is B, she is super rude and very judgmental.If I come in there to buy clothes and spend my money you probably shouldn't be rude. She had the nerve to say to me as I am holding clothes to buy you don't look like you would shop here, then she rolled her eyes. I will never go back in there, that lady is ridiculous. Hey lady you are just a manager at a retail store do not act like you are better than anyone else. You have no idea who I am just because I was wearing regular jeans and a sweatshirt doesn't give you the right to talk down to me like I am some kind of scrub. If your are shopping at this store and get scammed into purchasing clothes that are uncomfortable or don't fit right, DO NOT expect to have kind service in returning their product. Asking for a manager only means someone even more disrespectful to come out and try to muffle your opinion or concern. I'm glad that i purchased over $200 worth of apparel that will only be collecting dust. It gets better when you try and call the corporate office and talk to people in customer relations. even more disrespectful. just trying to get you off the phone so they can listen to the next complaint. After i spent 15 minutes explaining the situation to them expecting a little better service than the store i was told that they will "contact the store and if they feel like they need to contact you they will." they had me leaving to store feeling like it was my fault the clothes aren't what i like and pretty much told me to deal with it. Piss poor service unless your wallet is open i would not recommend shopping in this store to anyone and I will be sure to make my situation clear to everyone so no one else ends up getting screwed from these disrespectful people read more

If you have applied and going in for an interview for this store in Appleton, I'd reconsider. I had an interview with the manager named Lindsey and she was rude and unprofessional. I wasn't going for just a sales associate position, I was going for a VM of the store. She held the interview out on the floor, which I guess is understandable because she was the only manager there.. But it was hard to even gather my thoughts and difficult to interview over the loud music. That's besides the point to this though. I was interrupted multiple of times while I gave feedback to her questions she asked me, and she stated I was 'all over the place' well, of course I was nervous but she didn't need be rude. Also we get half way through the interview and she basically said I'm not getting the job. Even though I'm qualified more than enough for this and have a degree in this. This isn't about me being bitter towards this manager it's how she presented herself. She was rude, judgmental, and super unprofessional all around. For a young person to put there time and heart into finding a career and going through the process of interviewing for what their degree is, she sure made me feel unknowledgeable about my current job of visual merchandising/sales and my overall knowledge on my degree... You don't have to discourage young people who are starting out. It can really tear them down. And I'm very upset how I was treated. I drove 45 mins out of my way for her to cut me off in my interview and for me to be disrespected. read more
