Goran was awesome, great friendly service and quotes up front. Offer of a replacement vehicle when only getting a service was great, even though I didn't take it up. read more

My dmax making a warning sound and engine light on, Liam…read moreshowed up , I told him the issues and he said that for him to plug in the scanner to read the faults will be an extra $65, !!! How on earth was he going to find out the faults on any car without the scanner, it is a simple tool every mechanic uses, just a add on scam, So anyway, I reluctantly agreed as I need it fixed or at least told what was faulty and he told me that he is now cancelling the job because of my attitude, Won't use this company any more,
ACE mechanics (mobile) in Melbourne deserve 0/5. I paid $1500 to get my car serviced and that…read moreincluded new brakes and rotors. After the service, I noticed a grinding sounds coming from my brakes. I contacted ACE and they sent a different technician out to "fix" the issue. Nothing changed, however the mechanic told me it can take a "few days" for the brakes to wear in - mind you, I know nothing about cars so took his word for it. 10 days later, the grinding sound remained so I called again. This time, they sent the original mechanic to my work to "fix" the issue. He spent approximately 30 mins with my car and advised me that he put a little grease on the brakes and he test drove it and the issue was fixed...it was for a whole day. I called again to report that the problem is still there and the receptionist was so rude, she said it is an intermittent issue when clearly the issue started after my brakes were changed as the issue was not there before. She offered for a mechanic to attend a 4th time but I declined as I have completely lost faith in this organisation and capability of its employee. Stay far away from this place, especially if you're a woman!

He had the respect to give me detailed information about repair issues. I think the price was fair. Ultratune was also able to give me a quote on repairs when I detailed what I wanted done. I wish I would have read a review about ultra tune and gone here first.

Emails were returned promptly & phone calls returned on time. The work done on the car came out like it was off the showroom floor. The paint job is superb, and even though all panels were not painted, you would never know as it all matches so well. All accessories on the landcruiser, which were many, look great and an all round great job. Would not hesitate to recommend them for any car repairs.
The quality of the repairs performed here on my 12 month old car after it was hit whilst parked…read morewere appalling. My car was returned with unfixed major structural damage making it unroadworthy. The general workmanship on the non-structural elements such as paint matching and panel alignment were also substandard. I could see the structural damage with my naked eye so I assume they thought I was stupid enough for them to lie to me that the car was fixed - I found it dishonest and offensive. The car ended up being written off by the insurance company because to rectify their shoddy repairs was not viable. I lost a rare badged vehicle which, if repaired properly first up, would still be on the road.

Absolutely appalling experience…read more We brought our van in simply to see whether it could be sold in Victoria, as the vehicle is registered in NSW. After charging us around $300 for a roadworthy inspection, we were then told the van would never pass in Victoria because the rear seats had been removed and it had a partial campervan conversion. What makes this so frustrating is that this was blatantly obvious the second the side door was opened. Any honest mechanic with basic decency would have said upfront, "This won't pass in Victoria due to the modifications," before taking our money and continuing with the inspection. Instead, they happily went ahead with the check knowing full well it would fail on that basis alone. When questioned, the receptionist claimed they "didn't know until they looked at it," which is ridiculous considering the modifications are immediately visible. To make it worse, some of the other issues they picked up on had already passed inspection in NSW anyway, so naturally we would have just taken the van back there to sell if they had been upfront from the beginning. The whole thing felt incredibly greedy and dishonest. It came across as a cash grab rather than genuine customer service. Would not recommend.
