I'm not sure how it's possible, but half the ribs were almost too hot to eat in the other half was ice cold. Literally like they had been pulled out of the refrigerator. Very odd! The barbecue nachos are flour, tortilla chips and not corn. They were over fried and the chunks of barbecue were too big to fit on the chip. This was some of the worst barbecue I've had in a long time and maybe ever. There was zero Char on the ribs. They tasted almost like they had been steamed or something. They were wet but not sauce, just with what seems like steam. The dry rub seasoning was basically just wet goo. Regardless, the fact that half of them were probably around 48° makes it impossible to enjoy them. I still don't understand how this is possible. The atmosphere is fine, though it's a tiny restaurant. The service is uneventful. There were only two tables, including ours that had customer at it. Our server was sitting in the corner with her boyfriend the whole time hanging out with him and she would just get up occasionally and check on us. She had no personality. There's a 0% chance I would ever give this restaurant another chance. Horrible. Absolutely horrible. It's completely obvious that there is zero supervision or management this restaurant. read more

Well, well, well.... What a find, thanks to Yelp!!! Traveling through Corinth, we decided to explore Bars & Pubs. Buck's showed up on the list...... so we decided to stop in. It's definitely a "locals" bar once you step inside. Sports on the TV, country music playing in the background. Busier than we thought but in a good way. McKenzie was our Bartender.... delightful young lady who just got married in Las Vegas. Great, bubbly personality. On the menu, smoked chicken thighs caught our eye.... We got 6 nice sized chicken thighs and they were delicious!! Quite moist with a good smoke flavor. Yes, we would stop again. read more

What an amazing place to hang out. Buck and his staff will take care of you like family. From the extremely creative food to the down home favorites, this place delivers amazing flavor. With a great atmosphere and awesome playlist, you can't go wrong stopping here and ordering anything. We had the deep fried wings, the sampler platter, the Eddie burger, quesadilla, and a bunch of other items as we sat there for roughly 7 hours just hanging out on vacation. Their homemade spicy bbq sauce and usage of Mike's Hot Honey won the day for sure. The deep fried ribs were absolutely amazing. All of the food we ordered was delicious and most of it completely off the beaten path and totally original takes on old favorites. The staff was super friendly and polite. The music playlist may as well have been my own honestly, just an amazing mix of music to go along with the great food. As we sat there during a vacation day we didn't want for anything at all. Everyone in the place was super friendly and easy to chat with, the staff was super accommodating and helpful, and Buck is open to any ideas for new foods to try. Stopped for a quick lunch on trip from Memphis to the Shoals. YELP really delivered this time. Getting a bit off the main drag provided us with a top notch flavor town experience! Well whiskey, well vodka, rib plate, sausage and a pulled pork salad. Drinks were good. Ribs were AWESOME. Tender, flavorful, moist, fall off the bone. Would return again and order double ribs next time. Sides were good. Ordered a side of sausage- not the most flavorful. I would skip those next time. I found Bucks on Yelp as a place to eat dinner before our grandson's high school football game this past Friday. It's a very small place with just a few tables and we could tell it was an old building that had been refurbished. It was also definitely a local place where the server seemed to know most of the customers who were already there and those who came in after us. She was very friendly and took our order promptly after explaining that their fryer was down and we couldn't order fries. I had the barbecue sandwich and my hubby had the fried bologna melt which he said was really good. The food was ready in about five minutes and we both enjoyed our meal; my sandwich was full of meat with a great-tasting sauce that was not too sweet and not too tangy. We got barbecue Lay's chips since we couldn't get fries and the server told us their fries were really good and to come back so we could try them. I doubt we will have an occasion to go back, but I do recommend everyone else trying Bucks if you're in Corinth, MS! read more

Bucks was a great place to visit and watch some football when in town. They could certainly use an upgrade on tvs but the ambiance was great and made up for it. The food was solid ( I had the BBQ Quesadilla ), the bartender was very attentive, and the overall atmosphere was comfortable like a local bar should be. Worth a stop if you're in Corinth. read more

A hassle trying to place a to go order - paid for ribs and chicken thighs. The cook came out about 10 min and said the chicken would be 45 minutes. I asked them to scratch the chicken and add a 2nd rack of ribs. This caused my bill to increase by $12 or so and caused tremendous confusion for the bartender who was taking my order. The ribs looked beautiful whenI opened the container (about 5 min after leaving the place) but they were cold as ice. Such beautiful presentation but didn't think to warm them before boxing them up??? I warmed them in microwave when I got home, they were just OK, had been cooked too long on smoker (or oven) and were on the dry side. I must say the $1.50 shot glass size portions of potato salad and coleslaw were very good. I just wish $1.50 got you more than one spoonful of each. read more

I was passing through and wanted to get some ribs. So stopped at Bucks to get to go order. Never again. The ribs were without a doubt the worst I have ever purchased. They were extremely overcooked, hard and dry. Horrible is being kind. The best to hope for with these ribs is that the dogs might eat them. Service was just fine. I would fire the cook. read more

Comfortable little spot near downtown Corinth. Gave it a try yesterday and enjoyed the house specialty "Eddie" burger which is a huge classic hamburger with all the fixing served on the side. The french fries were delicious- unusual curly cut and creamy on the inside while nice and crispy on the outside. Cold slaw was good but rather bland. The BBQ beans were outstanding- slight taste of cumin and wonderful generous amounts of BBQ in the beans. Will be back for more of those. Great addition to local dining spots. Love this place! Great food, and smoke free, which I have found hard to find since moving away from IL. The service friendly and food was delicious. I got the kielbasa plate. The kielbasa had a great smoke and a little char. Loved that I could get pickles as a side, and it's not just one spear. I love pickles and I couldn't eat all the spears they gave me. The cheese sticks were unique and not fried which for my Keto diet worked perfect. They sprinkle their rub on the cheese sticks and it's delicious. This is a must stop. Price is reasonable. Stopped off the highway for some ribs and a cold ice tea. Had a quesadilla and fries, and a full rack of ribs. It was amazing. Sweet, tangy and just enough spicy sauce on ribs that fell apart off the bone. Coleslaw was fresh and fries were thick cut and crisp and amazingly tender inside. Not cheap, but so worth it, you will not walk away hungry. A bathroom that was not well-tended to that lacked soap cost a star, but I'll sure be back again to try the rest of the menu. read more

We had a great experience at Bucks! My husband had the smoked turkey melt and I had the BBQ sandwich basket. Both were delicious! Well-seasoned, generous portions and the best fries I've ever tasted! You won't leave hungry, that's for sure! The prices are very reasonable, and everything on their menu is available for takeout also. The also do office parties and by-the-pound takeout of many menu items. The atmosphere is fun and the service was top notch too! Stopped by after visiting Shiloh with my father. Good service, we were greeted by the barkeep and told to seat ourselves. our drink order was taken swiftly, and by then we had decided to split a full order of ribs and an order of fries. our drinks came quickly and the cups were generous. The food came surprisingly quickly as well, and it was delicious! The ribs were crispy on top, and juicy in between the bones. The waitress was accommodating. I highly recommend for anyone passing through who desires a southern bar dining experience. Very friendly! read more
