They only send you a bill if you're past due and you have to pay your bill through century 21 so it usually takes a few days for your payment to post and between the storage owner and century 21 nobody ever knows what's going on. Multiple times I have called the bookkeeper and she was extremely rude towards me about locating my payment. Finally we decided to take our stuff somewhere else when we went to get some items and there was a lock on our unit. We called the owner amd he said there was no payment made even though we plaied 10 days before. We asked them politely if they could look up the last payment date amd he said No we had to talk to the bookkeeper but he wouldn't give us her number again. Called century 21 and they gave us another number. Turns out it was another number for the owner. He answered very angry and was short with us saying we don't need to call century 21. Screaming harshly that he already spoke to us and said bye. I quickly said no I didn't get my answer to the question before he could hang up. I asked him again if he could find out for us the last payment date because our payment was missing. He said he'd call the bookkeeper and I asked him why he was being so angry and told him I didn't appreciate it. He snaps back that he can't talk to me about it anymore because it was under my fiance' s name and that if he didn't call right away he would sell our stuff. How can you use me against our unit if I don't have anything to do with the account??? My fiance called them and told them were moving our stuff and suddenly our check reappears in their office!!! Two truck loads were taken out and it was cleaned for the next person before December 1st 2016. On December 28th I received a bill for December and January and a late fee of 35.00, for a total of 165.00. When the owner (Marty) was called he said the unit wasn't empty. I don't know who's stuff is in there or if there is stuff in there but it's not ours. It was completely empty and cleaned. Owner was rude and I guess it will get paid but looks like I'll be going to small claims court to try to figure this out. If at all possible DO NOT rent a unit from Grand Island Mini Storage. This man is not an honest businessman. :(

5 stars is not enough. In the last 15 years we have moved about 12 times. We have used countless…read morecompanies, u-packs and U-hauls. A Helping Hand is by far the best company around. I have had the pleasure of using them 2 times in the last 6 months. They are punctual, pleasant and reasonably priced. At no point did I hear complaints about the 2 trucks that came to my apartment and emptied it, then followed me to my storage unit and emptied it, and then went to my new house and unloaded both trucks. It took 2 hours for all this to take place. That's incredible!! They never stopped smiling as they carried half of my family's belongings down stairs. They impressed me so much that I will only use A Helping Hand. From the big boss Alfredo, down to the smallest person on his crew, I consider them family.
