Take your business elsewhere, like Rock Island Liquor. I just called to get some prices since I live out of town. I was told, "You'll just have to come check it out. I'm busy." and then got hung up on. I guess someone else will appreciate my large wedding purchase! read more

This unassuming liquor store has one thing that sets it apart from every other liquor store in the town: they have a mascot. He is a fat little bunny named Bucky, and you can pet him on your way in or even carry him around while you shop. His favorite thing is to hop up and down the wine aisles. I could buy booze duty-free on base, I choose not to. Having Bucky brighten my day while I'm perusing liquors is worth the price. read more

I purchase ALL of my wine and liquor from Bucks! It is a family run store and is attached to Bucks Party Shop. They have a super adorable bunny that hangs out in the store named Bucky! Hes super friendly and will definitely allow you to pet him. What I feel sets Bucks apart from all of the other liquor stores is that they will order anything that you want! And if you get it enough times they will permanently stock whatever it is that you are looking for! Great selections and they even offer a military discount on Wednesdays! read more

History

Established in 1959.

Lee and Zelma Buxton opened Buck's Package Store soon after the repeal of prohibition in Oklahoma and operated it continuously until 1988, when Steve & Merry Lee Nafus purchased it. In 1990, the Nafuses purchased the former Braum's building just two doors down and expanded into the much larger space.
