I retained the Law Offices of Robert Tsigler in early February 2026 and paid a $3,500 retainer…read morebased on their reputation, expecting a high level of professionalism and responsiveness. It took approximately 11-12 days for the firm to file its appearance, and nearly three weeks before I had a meaningful conversation with the initially assigned attorney, John Fink. During that time, communication was limited and there was little sense of urgency. In late February, after I raised concerns about communication and the handling of my case, Mr. Fink stated that "we will be withdrawing as your counsel" while my case remained unresolved and an active warrant was still outstanding. I raised these concerns because of the firm's reputation and expected the issue to be addressed by management. Instead, I was reassigned to Scott Migden and told the matter would be handled quickly. However, over the following weeks, I did not observe meaningful progress. No motions were filed, and I was repeatedly told the firm was "waiting to hear back from the prosecutor," with no clear advancement in my case. When I requested updates, I was often directed to phone calls instead of receiving written responses, and those calls consistently provided the same information without new developments. When I reviewed the billing statement, a significant portion of the charges appeared to be for communication, internal discussions, and administrative tasks rather than substantive legal work. I was also told there was essentially no case file beyond what I had provided, yet the billing reflected work on a "case file," which I found inconsistent. I also later learned that the original attorney remained listed as my attorney of record in the New Jersey court system as of April, which added to my concern about who was actively handling my case during that time. After all of this, I was informed that continued representation would require an additional $6,500. I had no issue paying additional fees if meaningful work had been performed, but based on the billing and lack of progress, I did not feel further fees were justified. After I indicated I intended to leave an honest review, I received a response from Joseph Caldarera stating that the firm would respond through legal or professional channels if necessary, which I found concerning. Based on my experience, I was dissatisfied with the communication, billing practices, and overall handling of my case, and I am pursuing fee arbitration and an ethics complaint in New Jersey.

I wasn't able to get physical therapy or even the nerve exams or surgeries I needed all because this is a Worker's Compensation Case. That's super crazy, right? That's Worker's Compensation Law for you. The good news though is if you have an attorney like Frank then your attorney could actual push for your medical treatment to be authorized. I was suffering for about a year without good treatment and denial of proper examinations until I switched attorneys; basically to Frank's office. Just to give you some background on Frank's credibility he has about 30 years of experience as an insurance defense attorney. This is a huge plus almost no other law office has because he knows how the other side will counter you. But legally Frank knows how to best defend you. My pay from Worker's Compensation was $150 per week. I used to be a full-time waitress and lead chef in two restaurants and Liberty Mutual said this is 2/3rds of my income which is all I'm entitled to... My income used to be nearly $4,900 per month... Frank's associate Julie quickly turned this around and got me $447 per week. It's not the 66% but it's the most she could do. Next, in regards to treatment you have to be sure you actually go to a real MD who accepts Worker's Compensation Insurance. There's only a handful of doctors who actually do so because the Worker's Compensation Board is really hard to work with because they deny payment to the doctors a lot. There's also tons of paperwork. Also even if the board approves the treatment the insurance company may deny payment of the full amount. For example, my left elbow surgery was $5,000 the insurance company basically Liberty Mutual says, "This isn't how much a nerve transplant should cost. You're over billing us! So we'll only pay you $2500." Frank and his team fight for the doctors who treat you to get fully compensated as well. When I first came to his office he gave me a huge list of doctors to choose all of which he's worked alongside with for a number of years. He helped me choose the best most caring doctor who knows how to file Worker's Compensation paperwork so it doesn't mess up your case. I can call Frank or Julie or email any of his team any day of the week and expect a response within a couple hours at most only when they're in court. This is an incredible response time. Frank and his team really help me feel like I'm the only client they're working with which is definitely not the case. I know this because they're in court nearly every other business day. So thank you so much for reading my whole long review. I hope this was helpful. I obviously feel my case is going in the right direction with this law office. I strongly believe you would be in the best care possible with Frank Pellegrini and his team defending you just based off my personal experience. Good luck with your Worker's Comp. case. I have devoted my life to service, integrity, and protecting others. Years ago, I even assisted this firm during a devastating fire, when they needed help. Despite my sacrifice, they chose to come after me without conscience--motivated only by money and personal gain. It was not just unethical; it was deeply personal and inhumane. Helping push this unethical case were Christina Cilli and her brother, both of whom knew from the start they had no legal standing. Yet they persisted, throwing money at a meritless case out of pride and entitlement. In the end, all their spending got them far less than what they could have had through fairness--and it left their own daughter and son emotionally abandoned and lost in the process. Also involved was Jay Kaplan, a used car salesman from Motion Kia, who lived with Christina during the case and actively supported her toxic behavior. In the midst of all this, there was only one voice of reason: Sharon Johnson of Johnson & Johnson Law Firm in NJ. Sharon showed the kind of character and strength that the others lacked. She communicated with honesty, showed unwavering compassion, and fought for me with true professionalism, even while we faced a system abused by the other side. She stood by me with integrity when it felt like the world was falling apart. If you want a strong, ethical, and genuinely compassionate attorney, I highly recommend Sharon Johnson. But if you value fairness, decency, or justice--stay far away from Mario Lomonaco and the firm of Laufer, Dalena, Jensen & Bradley. They betrayed not just legal ethics--but basic human decency.
