We had budget blinds install shutters in a couple bedrooms a few years ago. We had them come back when we needed our living, kitchen, and dining room done. We couldn't be more pleased. The installation went more quickly than we expected. Though the original measurements were off and had to be redone delaying our project, BB was very professional and made sure that everything was perfect in the end. The owner of this place is completely rude. My mom is 86 and ordered shades for a room that gets sunlight all day and needed shades to block out sun and heat. They came out to the house and gave her a quote and showed her the type of shade. When they came out to install they are so thin you can see the palm trees through them. My mom called and they told her she would have to pay again to change them. This was there mistake. But now the owner has hung up on my mom twice and will not make this right. Worst customer service ever. Pay 4k and they won't make it right. Think twice about doing business with this company. Would have given 0 stars! read more

This is for the Kingman location. I got the address from a web search. Stopped by one day to discuss my needs. These people know what they are doing. They are accommodating and can answer any question you have about blinds and vertical shades. I had complete confidence in the two representatives that I met on my day #1 meeting. They set up an appointment for an estimate. I asked for an early appointment. Hate to be held hostage in my house waiting endlessly for a service person to come an fix or estimate a project. The lady actually showed up on the minute of the appointment. Did her estimating, while making some great recommendations, in less than one hour. I have nothing but praise for this company an its employees. Also, when I first went to the office, I just asked did they know a good Vet in the area. They also gave me a recommendation on a place to take my dog for her shots and general exams. You will not be disappointed if you choose this place to do any work on your house/condo. read more

I hate to leave a bad review as I am in customer service myself and I love to give the benefit of the doubt, but I can't seriously wrap my head around the experience that I had. I think that the experience started off well with Kelli while receiving the quote, but after agreeing to the price I was asked "How did you want to pay the deposit". This came off a bit surprising as I had been working with them for over a week and was told nothing about a deposit prior. Paying the deposit isn't the issue, I have no problem with that. The problem is that it was sprung on me and i was refused any further explanation. when some thing unexpected is told to me, I have questions as would anyone else. I have the pictures of the dry responses I was given with Kellie once I started asking questions about the deposit. Came down to the point that I literally just asked if she could answer my question about the deposit being refundable or not, and she literally responded no. That she would NOT answer my question about the deposit, and then instead of proceeding to educate me on their deposit process she told me I should take my business elsewhere. Buyer Beware!!! This company was very unprofessional and communication was very poor over any concerns I had about my blinds. Extremely LONG WAIT to receive my order with no call updating me for the reason of this delay. Owner has NO quality control over proper installation or fit in the windows. Their installers were very rude when I noticed one of the "Pull-down" blinds looked uneven at the top of the window. When I addressed this to the installer, his comment was, "I'm not completely finished and you'll just have to wait until I'm done". Well, after he was completely finished, it still looked "OFF". Again, I brought this up to him and asked him to measure the distance from the top of the window to the top of the blind, and it was a 3/4 inch off on the left side. When I asked for a new one to be ordered, they were not happy with having to do this. I told them that I would finish paying for this corrected one after it's installation. Turns out that they NEVER ordered another properly fitted window covering in the additional months following. When I called them inquiring about this, they put me off. Shortly afterwards, I got a VERY NASTY letter from Budget Blinds berating me, plus they dismissed doing any future business dealings with me!! This is absolutely NO WAY to run a business and they should stand behind their products and fix any mistakes they are responsible for making. This is NOT the dignified way to handle it!!! read more

If I could give them a minus I would, don't use this company unless you want to be ripped off. Leeann the owners wife is the most disrespectful and unprofessional person i have ever met. When i called to complain about the plastic shutters that were installed in stead of wood, she talked over me, said they were trying to save me money, then hung up on me. Called back and she wouldn't answer the phone. They already had installed a blind that had an inch gap you could see in, so wanted to swap out and put wooden shutters instead. They didn't want to pay for their mistake, so this is how they made up for losing money. Buyer beware!!! read more

Huge onions to Budget Blinds in Kingman. I just wanted to share a very nasty experience I just had with Budget Blinds here in Kingman. I'm a contractor and was looking for a price on two wood blinds for a customer. I brought a sample in and said hello, didn't get a hello back. I said it again , didn't get a hello back, all I got was "How can I help you"? That's ok. Everyone has bad days. The employee or owner came back with a price for installation and the product, again this is fine if that is their policy. Then I said ok I'm looking to install it myself. My customer needs two blinds and I have already bid installation. No problem I'll go somewhere else. She then proceeded to try and talk down to me very condescending like and very arrogantly about how I know absolutely nothing about blinds and she goes to school all around the United States all year long to gain knowledge of blinds. I have no idea what triggered her to start being so rude to me. All she had to say was our policy is to install everything we sell. And to try and tear me down like I'm an idiot from one business owner to the next that was highly uncalled for. I network with people of all types and have never been treated like that. This place was recommended by a good friend, 1st they are cheap, so budget shouldn't be in name. 2nd they make an error in measurement I had to go 3 weeks for the fix can be done, sun in my face in my bedroom and not one apology. No discount for the inconvenience, so since of responsibility. They showed 3 weeks latter charge me the 279.00 for one small blind and left. The owner called when I sent post card, complaining about me giving her an accurate survey. If you don't want to hear the truth, don't send out surveys, when I explained when my employees make an error, fault or not I try to make guest happy and own up to it her response was to laugh. DONT over pay, and get crappy customer service. Worst 5000.00 I ever spent. Yes I spent that much and they don't care. read more
