The attention to detail stood out--things like moving furniture, removing and reinstalling baseboards, touch-up painting, and addressing minor subfloor issues were all included. On top of that, the quality of their product was easily 10/10--far superior to what we previously had installed. The crew was incredibly efficient, but what really set them apart was that they're family-owned and operated. The same family was on-site every day doing the work--not subcontractors, which is something we saw a lot with other companies. That consistency made a huge difference. We believed this because we took the vinyl sample home, which was solid and were assured by the two sales associates that it would feel the same as the sample. My wife actually asked both of the sales associates if the floor would feel solid and be strong enough, as we have heavy furniture and her husband could lose a few pounds. Again, she was told it would feel solid, just like the sample, no problem. This has nothing to do with the sample being attached to a solid display board either, obviously. Our foundation is solid too. We noticed pretty quickly upon installation that this type of vinyl is for floating floors only and feels like an entirely different product. It's certainly not a firm or solid feel by any means, more like walking on a gym mat as the floor is not supposed to be firm. We returned to the store for what we thought would be an easy return or exchange, maybe a misunderstanding. Unfortunately, we were met by the owner Nick Beno, who was less than welcoming. When I explained to Nick that we relied on his 2 sales reps to give us accurate information about the flooring and that we needed to choose a different product now, his reply incredibly was "you should've done your own research, good luck going through the manufacturer". He refused to exchange the product or accept a return. That told me everything I needed to know about Beno's Flooring. He also said if I would've used the store's installer instead of just purchasing the flooring by itself, this wouldn't have happened. As if that would somehow change the flooring his associates convinced us to buy. Crooked to say the least. As someone who loves to support local business, this service was shameful. Buyer beware!

I wasn't home during the service, but my husband was, and the technician called when he arrived and explained everything clearly. They shampooed, agitated, and deodorized the carpets, and took extra care with the areas where our dog had accidents. Including ceramic tile removal in some areas. Home was unoccupied and we are 2 hours away. Let's start with the Estimate. And Brianna. She showed up on time, with modern measuring equipment. Walked the job, asked the important questions and smoothly measured all of the spaces with a laser and a laptop. We had a quote within hours. After getting two other quotes, the choice was clear. FCI. Their bid was not the cheapest, but was 40% below the high bid. (The low bidder showed up hours late with a rusty tape measure) I went to their office with the check for the deposit. Amanda was well informed, and helped me schedule the work. The schedule needed stages. The tile removal always creates a lot of dust. And we were hiring a painter to paint the complete interior. Not a problem for FCI. Their subcontractor spent an entire day removing the old tiles and mortar. Then the job had to pause. For a couple of weeks. Once the painting crew was done the floors could be laid. We had chosen LVP, and had 3 pallets of the material delivered. As Clint started on the floor, Amanda and Brianna kept sending us progress reports with pictures. We watched as our bare floors came to life. It was fantastic customer service.
