These guys delivered a washer and dryer to my house on behalf of Lowe's. When unstacking my old…read moreunit to remove it, instead of tying the carry strap around it and taking it out, the guy decided to carry the dryer at shoulder level backwards out the door and down my steps. In the process he lost control and the dryer fell into my screen door, shattering the glass. The guys hasn't hardly spoken a word before this and were incredibly rude, but then after this things escalated. They refused to acknowledge the door until I kept bringing it up multiple times. Finally the guy says he will give me $40 cash and there won't be any need for me to file a claim. I said no and that I was absolutely filling a claim. He started rolling his eyes and huffing and arguing with me saying there was no need and that the $40 would more than cover it. They continued to be rude and disrespectful and treat me as if I was the problem. I was put in touch with their liability insurance and told them those guys were not welcome back on my property ever again. Now this morning I have a text from Melton Hinton saying he is coming to take the glass out of my door after I had already gone through a professional repair company and sent the estimate to the insurance company. I texted him back and said no and he has not responded despite me getting a read receipt for my text. I would not recommend anyone to use these guys. They are horrible and deserve to be put out of business for the way they treat customers.

I purchased a new stove from Lowes Home Improvement in Clayton NC. I was told Lowes would bring the…read morestove to my home. I later found out it would be a third party delivery company to bring it out. One of the men walked up did not give his name and no company name was on the truck. He came into my kitchen and dragged out the old stove and parked it in front of the dishwasher. I asked him to take it out before bringing in the new one because my kitchen is not real large but he said no. He and his partner took the tape holding the bottom drawer and power cord off at the truck. When carrying the stove the bottom drawer opened up into my sideboard and damaged it. The men knew they had damaged it because one of them bent down to put the drawer back in place. When they go in the kitchen they slide the new stove off the side. I asked the man when they were going to put the anti tip brackt on and he said "we only do that in new homes" and "if we did we would have to drill up from the foundation" Lowes told me the man lied and was suppose to have installed the bracket. After they got the new stove in place and took the old one out I saw two cuts in my floor and saw the damage to my furniture. I had taken very good pictures of the floor, furniture, etc. before they got there and after. Lowes will do nothing to settle with me for the damage, they threw me to the 3rd party del co and they keep pointing the finger at others. Finally the owner of DV Deliveries Melton Hinton basically called me a liar, said the pictures show no damage. I told him the pictures clearly show before and after and that his employee had lied to me about the tip bracket which meant a second company would have to come out and install. By this point I had 6 different people in my home. I am at high risk, have autoimmuine diseases and was feeling sick from all the stress. My doctor told me no more people in the home period. I told Mr. Hinton I would accept $1200 for the total damage. I cant have anyone come to do an estimate due to doctors orders. I was planning on using the money and just do the repairs myself. Mr. Hinton basically called me a liar, was rude just like the men he sent out to deliver the stove and finally slammed the phone in my face saying I would not get a penny. They are jack legs, unprofessional and do not accept accountability. RUN DONT WALK if you hear they are delivering appliaces for your home.
