They were the most reasonably priced option I found and the only one that could guarantee a specific move in date rather than a "window" of dates, arrived on the date promised despite it being a 10+ hour drive, and were fast with the loading and unloading. They were flexible with my situation and even found a storage company for me to store my things for 3 months while I was away before they moved it to my apartment in Philadelphia. John's company had a nice personal touch with excellent and convenient communication where we could text or call regarding any updates for the move. They were careful with furniture and parts so that nothing was damaged, and for the only one part of my table that was misplaced (and later found while unpacking), they even offered to pay to replace the entire table and instead ended up deducting from what I owed at the time. This was great customer service, especially compared to my previous movers. John was very easy to work with in helping me move from one 3rd floor apartment to another 3rd floor apartment. The quote that he gave me was the lowest amongst 6 other moving companies that I called. I didn't have any issues with scheduling the appointment or making the security deposit. On the day of the actual move, he called me about half an hr before we were scheduled to meet and told me that he was running a bit late which was not a big deal for me. I appreciated that he let me know beforehand so I wasn't sitting at home and wondering where he was. Overall, I didn't have any communication issues with John and I was well informed throughout the process. He also helped me pack the many boxes that I had into my car and made sure they were secured since I was going to be driving 500 miles with them. At the new location, he helped me put the furniture and boxes exactly where I wanted them to go. We finished the move in less than two hours and it went very efficiently. My husband and I had a GREAT experience with John and his team. We had a complicated move that involved picking up some new furniture before going to our apartment to load our belongings on the truck to take to our new home. When we arrived at the house we asked John to first haul some old furniture to the dump before unloading the truck. To top it off, the move happened to fall on a day with heavy wind and rain. John and his team handled all our requests with professionalism and good humor. He kept in constant communication with us during the day to ensure everything was running smoothly. They were on-time, friendly and professional. There was more to load and unload than initially estimated, so it took two days to complete. Using a total of 3 26' trucks and 6 men the 1st day. 3 men the 2nd day and unloading a POD too. They assisted in getting the pool table disassembled by a professional, then they moved the pieces. We will be using the pool table agent to assemble the table soon. Wooden pieces were wrapped by blankets and cloth items were shrink wrapped.
