I live in rolesville but the house I was getting furniture from was in Louisburg. I had planned for about 2 hrs of labor. They showed up right when they said, the truck was huge and packed with the essentials of moving (blankets, tie downs, etc.) they wasted no time, got everything loaded, unloaded a majority of it in THE POURING RAIN in Rolesville and then unloaded the remainder at my storage facility .The guys, Daniel or maybe Brandon (I think that was his name) and DJ, were fast, friendly, strong and did a great job. Dwight then charged us the same hourly rate, by claiming that the 3 people was an error on the quote, and that it should have been 2. Obviously 2 people take longer than 3, and they should've charged a lower hourly rate for the 2 people. But they didn't. We are disappointed by their poor professionalism. In 2018, We were moving from an apartment to a house which was only an 8 mile trip. I called and a representative came to our apartment for an assessment. We were in the middle of packing so items were not quite move ready. The gentleman asked me where I worked which was none of his business mind you, and in red flag territory, but I was focused on getting this move done, so I let that go. He also asked if the woman present ( my wife ) was my mother, yes another red flag that we chose to ignore. He stepped out of the apartment called the office I presume and came back with a quote which was a little high, and then left. But because we were in a serious time crunch, the company had favorable reviews, and I like to support local family owned businesses, I called and left a voicemail accepting the quote. I lost three valuable days waiting for a call back that never came. We called back but never spoke to a human. I don't know why we were ghosted, and it might be possible that the high quote was to scare us off instead being straight with us out of some concern that I could not pay them, or simply of telling us they were fully booked or maybe the the third floor apartment was a concern. But that is only speculation. I do hold out the possibility that perhaps something serous like a family emergency might be a factor, but I still should have received a callback. I eventually called another company (ATHENS which I already left a yelp review for), they moved us without issue and they got my money because I did have a job. They even picked up new appliances we purchased on the way to our new home. I hope my experience with Taylor is the exception and not the norm.
