Before contacting this company read the 20+ Better Business Bureau complaints. I ordered a small dumpster to clear my mother's home for sale. Customer service was good until I requested removal. I ordered removal per their guidelines and emailed them that I was doing this long-distance and was told neighbors were dumping stuff in it. So I emailed mailed them to get is ASAP. They emailed me to say they were running behind and would be several days late for pick-up. But not to worry for extra charges. Several weeks after they picked it up I received an email with invoice charging $125 for overage. I did not get a notice of it being over weight nor any documentation showing that it was. This was my second dumpster as I had a good experience on the first go round. Unforturnately, the second dumpster was not a great experience. For the first dumpster 5 weeks prior, boards were placed in the driveway to protect it. For the second dumpster, the boards were ignored by the driver and he put the dumpster directly on the driveway. After calling, they were going to charge over $100 to "move the dumpster". Also, they put the dumpster too close to the garage and the door wouldn't open all the way. When I called to ask for a compimentary day due to all of the issues, they said it was too late as the pickup was scheduled. Instead, they offered to call over to the scheduling department for a later pickup for the afternoon scheduled. Needless to say, the dumpster was picked up in the morning. The customer service is nonexistent and the experience was unsettling, especially for a repeat customer. I will NOT recommend or use them again. read more

I called and expressed my dissatisfaction with dumpster size which was not the size I ordered and was told I would have to pay $195 to have it picked up and they did not offer any solution, just told me to pay more money. Adam the sales rep was nice ! However- purchased a 15 foot rolloff dumpster per pictures on we site shown below (blue dumpster) for $910. What was delivered was a 12 foot , rusted plywood for sides trailer , with four wheels ( not rolloff or ground lever ) with a flat tire ! Called budget dumpster to complain, and the service rep was very rude and just kept repeating "our 15 foot Dumpsters come in various formats". I told her it was 3 feet short and was not a rolloff meaning we can walk furniture and junk into it. She just kept repeating "our 15 foot Dumpsters come in various forms ". I asked her who she can escalate this to because I was not paying $910 for what was delivered. The rep said she would have someone call me , and no one ever did . I also sent numerous people within the company photos of what was delivered , and still no one reached out to me to make it right. Total rip off and fake advertising! Stay away !! Update- Jack called me and was very apologetic for my bad experience. He offered a partial refund , which I agreed to. He was great, just too bad it took me having to post bad reviews and a complaint with BBB for me to get resolution. BEWARE!!! Called Budget Dumpster and gentleman looked up my deck and said I needed 20 yard dumpster. Received dumpster when promised. It was damn near long as my house. Received confirmation for pick up day requested. Of Spent three days calling, texting, emailing until It was finally picked up. Seven weeks later I received an email to update my card on file because I owed an additional $350 for overage. The dumpster was only filled half way. There was damage to the siding of my house however I can't' prove that it was done on delivery. (very tight space in driveway for dumpster) However I am suppose to believe that the deck was three tons and I owe $350. Rented a dumpster from this company for $450.. Had the dumpster for 1 week, did not fill the dumpster up, even the driver that picked it up said it was not full.. Now 2 months later they email me and say my dumpster was over weight and they charge my card $192.. This is no where near good business behavior!! I have used them for 3 years now. I have had a negative experience experience with them this year. They sent a 20Yd when I ordered we a 30yd. I spoke to their customer service and the solution was frustrating. Keep this one and keep the charge where it is or get an additional dumpster. I disagree vehemently that I was quoted or charged for 20Yd The price I paid $505 was for 30 yard whether someone made a mistake at the time of quotation or at the time of the delivery. They try to charge for inappropriate fees. The dumpster company was unable to pick up the dumpster on the day origanally agreed upon because they were not open on the Friday after Thanksgiving as I was told when I ordered the dumpster. The next available day was the following Tuesday which happened to be the day it snowed. The snow in the driveway was less than 4 inches deep-same amount on the road. I was charge an extra $150 for a failed attempt to pick up the dumpster becuase the snow obstructed their access. I did not have any problem driving my RAV4 on the driveway. People were home all day and did not see any truck attempt to enter the driveway. This company is a rip off! I called to have it picked up the said they didn't have anything available for two days for pick up. I was fine with that. Well they came a day early to pick it up and I was not home. The driver destroyed not one but two of my neighbors yard. I will NEVER used them again as they didn't even attempt to not go all over their grass. 1 star is waay too high a review for these scumbags. I paid up front , then they canceled last minute, with my work crew on site already. They promised a priority morning delivery if I rebooted, which stupidly I did. Got the crew back on site, called first thing like they said I could, waited an hour on hold only to be told "morning is till noon". Called at noon, agIn 45 minute on hold, got told don't worry, you're in dispatch as a priority, just can't tell you an ETA till 2PM, call back then. My report card for Budget Dumpster would show an overall grading of: (.87.2%) B+ My overall experience was ideal.... Not great, not terrible, it was just fine, and I'm fine with that... After reading the negative reviews ~ I can say that I actually experienced some of what these other people are describing, however, don't personally see them as deal breakers by any means. To all the brilliant minds leaving reviews with regard to calling and calling never getting through to anyone, Just be better.... The guy who booked my dumpster gave me his number and assured me I could reach out to him with any questions, anytime of day, assuring me that he would be there for me. I tried the number he provided me with once, I tried twice, I sent a text message using the thread he opened with me,,, with no response. I bet you can guess what I didn't do ~ yep, that's right! Mindlessly continue calling and calling the number he gave me, nope, I just knew there had to be a better way. So, I googled Budget Dumpster and called their home office directly of course! Someone answered right away and I was able to gather the data needed to make sure I clearly understood the agreement that I agreed to as it relates to weight overages, overfilling the bin, items I can and can not dispose of, time frames etc.... I know this sounds crazy, but I just wanted to make sure, that I was 100% sure I wouldn't encrue any additional charges/ fees because of a lack of understanding on my part.... I feel this is where the lions share of shitty reviews originated from. Although Budget Dumpster should really put a comprehensive list together and send it along with the contract, they don't. It's a shame too, I guarantee your reviews would rebound in a serious way. I wasn't comfortable with the three categories of trash they wouldn't accept, and that's why I literally spent 1.5 hours on the phone with their home office while walking around my house and asking the specific questions I required answers to. For example: No electronics.... This wins the award for single most vague statement ever made in history. Especially given the $80 "PER ITEM" fee. An alarm clock is an electronic, so is a sonicare toothbrush, speakers, not even mentioning electronic components like capacitors, wiring, circuit boards, headphones etc.... Everything here is okay to throw away, but a coffee maker is a no no. Along with a TV of any kind, or a cell phone, amplifier, router. Each would incur a fee if thrown away. This is of course unless I broke Them up into pieces before tossing them. Keep a sludge hammer near by, and break everything into pieces to Save your wallet. No wood slabs from a tree I cut down, no shrubs or bushes, leaves, grass clippings etc.... But wood left over from a project is just fine, or from old furniture / dressers. No cement bricks/ blocks, broken concrete or gravel, but broken tile from my bathroom is just fine, along with glass and cut up vinyl flooring. I hope this makes sense, because this is likely one of the culprits causing overages and unhappy folks. Every time I called the home office main numbers, someone picked up. My dumpster was delivered a day late, and I received a second updated contract reflecting the correct days First thing The following morning. The douche bag who sold me the rental never did answer my Calls, but he is selling the dumpsters. The women at the office are not selling like he was, and were able to provide me with all the time I needed. I did go over on my 1 Ton Limit, I was billed an additional 15 dollars for 1.19 tons. This is reasonable and makes perfect sense. The guy that delivered my dumpster was incredible, very very very good customer service. These guys are rolling around in massive rigs, and because my driveway has A little steeper incline than most, and he couldnt get through to me on my phone, He pulled down the road and parked the rig, and ran back over to personally tell me things I did not and would not have known, and I thought that was pretty cool and thoughtful. I hope this clears up this nonsense with regard to these 1 star reviews. The owner is involved, obviously cares evident by his response to every shitty review trying to make it right. The main one is that the form on their website for setting the pickup date should have triggered an email to their people but didn't. The other reason is that they didn't default the pickup date to the end of the 10 day rental. This company is an absolute scam. I'm reporting them to the better business bureau. They tried to charge us for a mistake that they made when it was time to pick up the dumpster they sent the wrong company out and then try to charge US a trip fee for their mistake. When I told them I have cameras all around the property and I could prove they sent the wrong company they finally credited us but only after I threatened to call my attorney and drag them to my social media platform.
