It was several years ago, but I am making it a point to complain regularly. They charged me a delivery fee but didn't deliver the dumpster. They said it couldn't be placed safety due to overhead wires. I offered two places for them to put the dumpster and have had MULTIPLE dumpsters put in this place over the years. I am not a review person but felt inclined to do one for this company as they have earned a review. Please be aware that they are very nice on phone and must say that the dumpster did arrive when promised, so good job on that. But the rest is not so good and simply a very good deception scheme by your company. The hidden charges is where you simply take advantage of your customer after the fact and that is not ok!!! I rent quite a few dumpsters for my business throughout the coarse of the year and have never had an extra charge for weight until your company. I Rented a 20 yard dumpster and only filled 3/4 way up with the kitchen cabinets, single bathroom subfloor, and 800sq. ft. of carpet. Find it really hard to believe that it weighed over the 1.5 ton limit. But what can a person do to dispute your claim. Nothing!!! This company is less than ethical so buyer beware because you will 100% get taken advantage of by using this company. Do yourself a favor and call someone else that does not take advantage of you. As a Christmas gift you can have my $48.75 overage charge for allowing me to write this review as well as be a topic of conversation for the future referrals away from your company. read more

my grandma rented a huge dumpster from here and we barely filled it. however, budget gave my grandmother a fee to pay saying it was over a ton which it definitely was no where near. half the dumpster floor was still clear. take pictures if you rent from them especially if you're older- they love taking advantage of the elderly read more

I paid for a roll off to be put behind my garage that has alley access and to be called when the driver was on his way. I never recieved a call and the roll off never showed up. I had to call the next day and ask why. I was told the alley was narrow and there were low wires. There is a roll off behind the garage next door so obviously the alley is not too narrow and wires were not an issue. I asked for it to be put on the street and was told I need a permit even though this company put one on the street for me a month prior and never said one word about a permit! I called a different company and had a roll off behind my garage in 2 hours without a single issue. I'm out $150 because this company couldn't figure out how to put a roll off behind my garage. I had the worst customer service ever. I had rented a dumpster to be delivered on Monday, it wasn't so I called on Tuesday. Was hung up on, ( which I think was accidental). I called back 4 times and was put on hold listening to a loop of " don't worry be happy". I finally texted my phone number to the company and they told me the dumpster would arrive that day. Well it didn't and they didn't call back. They did send a text telling me it was delayed again. Meanwhile, my contractor and his crew only have 2 days on project. So I'm out hundreds of dollars, I have cancelled my dumpster and have another company delivering one tomorrow. read more

**AVOID AT ALL COSTS** One of the most crooked companies I have ever requested service through. Today was to be the day our dumpster got picked up. Last evening through this morning, in Omaha , we had a wintery mix of ice and snow. This morning at approximately 7am I shoveled and salted my driveway before heading to work. I then stopped home again on my lunch hour to sweep away the little (and I mean little) snow that was left from the morning hours . I returned home this afternoon after picking up my son from School, and notice the dumpster is still in my driveway. No snow in my driveway. Just the dumpster. I think nothing of it. My wife then calls me , extremely upset, and tells me these clowns charged us a $150 service fee for coming out, but we're unable to get the dumpster due to "snow blocking our driveway." She said she called to dispute and was more or less laughed at and nobody would take her seriously. So I called .. 3 separate phone calls. 2 different "Service" employees, and no supervisor contact. I of course dispute the charge, stating there is NO snow or Ice in my drive way. .....I get nothing . I then ask two very simple questions. A) what time approximately were they here to pick it up ? "I don't have an exact time." B) I am assuming photos were taken of my driveway to support the claim that snow was blocking it? "Umm I am not sure. I don't know that we take pictures. " Lovely. I will make it a point to share our experience with as many people as I possibly can. If even one person opts to use a different provider for this service, I'll take that as a win. Sometimes you really do get what you pay for folks. Lowest price may mean lowest quality of customer service and integrity. Sadly that was the case here. Excellent from drop-off to pick-up! From the inside CSR to the drivers, the whole job was completed without hassle and worry and I didn't even have to be on the property. CSR worked with me generously on a deal; very courteous, professional and "like-able." The drivers were very considerate to call ahead of time as requested, telling me they were on their way. A gate had to be unlocked to access the property; didn't prove to be any problem to the drivers. They closed and secured everything both in and out. The drop-off driver arranged the location of the dumpster as close to the debris as possible for easy disposal. Their price was very competitive and I will absolutely use them again. read more

DO NOT TRUST BUDGET DUMPSTER. Not only do they not assist the customer in understanding what size dumpster they will need, based on weight and size of the items your disposing, but they also have many hidden fees that are brushed through by there telephone agents at a fast speed. I told Budget dumpster that I was disposing of a chimney and framing due to black mold. They didn't offer any suggestions on size or weight. BUT THEY OVER CHARGE for WEIGHT. How is a consumer to know how heavy a chimney is? Budget Dumpster is NOT a good company as they rely on the consumer to call and schedule a pick up - If you don't, they will charge you by the day. I have rented 11 dumpsters within a few years and every other company picks up the dumpster within 7 to 10 days. Budget dumpster waits for you to call then charges you to the days it takes them to come and get the dumpster. A $250 dumpster rental has turned into a $450 rental due to extra fees. Very unimpressed with the service they provided. Had nothing but problems in the beginning starting with placement. I requested the ability to open the gate, however did not specify that I wanted to be able to shut it as well. Driver failed to listen to my crew and pushed the open dumpster back too far and we could not close the gate. Had to call in and complain to get them to come out and fix it. They wanted to charge me $175 for that. Then the driver was supposed to come out the next day to fix it and didn't bother to show. When I called the day after and talked to someone the driver showed up and said "wow did you really have to call in to the office and get me yelled at? I didn't feel like coming by here for this yesterday" How professional! Had to call in twice to get them to come and empty it the first time since they yet again put me on the schedule for one day and didn't bother to show. And now that I'm done with their services, I'm being billed an overweight charge on a dumpster that was no where near overweight. This should be fun getting my money back. I own a construction company and rent dumpsters frequently in PA/NJ/DE/MD area and have never had the amount of nonsense I've had to deal with with these people. If I could give this place zero stars I would!!! Shiesty A$$E$!!! I called first thing Tuesday morning and booked a dumpster for Friday and expressed we was moving out of state and was on a time frame and asked what time the truck could be there and was told anytime between 6-6 that they make routes day of... well I called early Friday morning to see if I could see where we was falling on the route to have an estimated time and was told between 2-4:30... Well 4:45 rolls around and I received a call from the supervisor that they have no dumpsters left that he could have me out one Monday... We'll anyways I should have ran then but now almost a month later I get an email saying I exceeded my 2.5 tons by 3.86 tons with a total of 6.36tons and they've already tried charging my card for another $193.00 once.... This is absolutely absurd!! My husband owns his own construction company and we've NEVER went over on a job EVER!!! But cleaning out my home to move apparently weighed over 4 female hippos!!! Oh and the kicker is they tried telling me it's a "Government run landfill so there's no room for error" Are you kidding me?!?! RUN, RUN, RUN!!!! read more

This business makes its money by charging for things that are free with other dumpster rental companies. I rented a 20yrd dumpster from them (although Waste Management delivered it and it was Waste Management's name and number on the side, so I suspect that Budget Dumpster is nothing but a middle man) and the extra charges were more than the actual rental. They only allow for one ton which is laughable for a 20yrd dumpster (20yrd dumpster are the large steel ones) by comparison the much smaller Home Depot dumpster in a bag has a 1.5 ton weight limit. They also start charging extra after 2 weeks when most companies give you 3. I have rented dumpsters from several other companies over the years and have never had these excess charges. Budget dumpster is not a local company and if I were you I would avoid renting from them. read more
