Since some people only post a review…read morewhen they're mad about something I will err on the side of generosity and give this four stars. The employee gave six star service. The owner needs to learn from his employee. When I entered the store, the owner, Bob, was in a conversation with an employee. He was behind the counter and his back was to the entrance door. When I opened the door and entered he stopped his conversation, turned to see who it was. Since I was not someone rich or famous or in his circle of friends he made eye contact with me, then turned back around without saying a word to me. He could've said, "hello." He could've said, "Welcome to Disinger's." He could've said, "Someone will be with you in a moment." But no, he did not say a word to me at all. Because I wasn't good enough to merit even a greeting, he turned back to what he was doing. The employee, Teresa, on the other hand was very friendly and helpful. I have lived in Jasper and Dubois county for about 30 years. I am a business owner. However, unfortunately many fellow business owners don't know how to treat customers. Bob is one of them. So if you go, be prepared to be ignored by the owner and helped by one of his helpers.

I called looking for a particular cartridge. The fella on the phone said it was in stock with no…read moremention of a limited quantity restriction. I drove an hour to get to the store. The employee behind the counter did not assist me in anyway and was unaware if the cartridge was in stock. Appeared to be on his lunch break. Upon finding the cartridges and asking if I could set them aside to look for more needed items, this guy on his lunch break told me I had to leave two boxes on the shelf. They only had 7 boxes. It's not like I was buying in bulk during an ammo shortage to resell. No where in the store states this rule. I will never return to this gunshop and wouldn't recommend the place to anyone.
