My experience with Mary Lou and Tony began one year ago Mother's Day. It all started on a Sunday when I ordered a Mother's Day arrangement through an online major floral designer. They had my original request sent to my mother-in-law through another local flower shop that was approximately 45 minutes away from her! Plus, this shop didn't make the arrangement that I had ordered online! This wasn't the first time that this had happened, so, I called and told the major floral designer that I wanted three things to happen: I wanted my mother-in-law's flowers replaced with the flowers that I ordered, I wanted it done today (Sunday), and I wanted it done by a LOCAL designer in the same town not one that was 45 minutes away! They said they would do their best. That's when I got a call from Tony. He told me where they were located. I explained my story to him, and what I had ordered. He said they would be able put something together for her and get it to her, but would send me a picture first. I said great, gave him the address, and hung up. A few minutes later, he called back and said that he couldn't deliver the flowers. That the major floral designer had called him and taken away the order because the other floral designer that was 45 minutes away had the order and would deliver it.......the NEXT DAY!!! Needless to say, I was fuming! But, because Tony and Mary Lou Mascolino go above and beyond for their customers, Tony took an absolutely amazing arrangement to my mother-in-law anyway because he said he didn't want her to not have her Mother's Day flowers! She adored it and she, now, adores Tony! Tony delivered an arrangement to my mother-in-law in the hospital once, and instead of just leaving them at the front desk, he took them to her room himself. Talk about that personal touch! Whenever I need flowers now, all I do is call, tell Mary Lou what I need them for, what my budget is, and she works her magic! I could not have asked for better service from a Florist. I was pleasantly surprised with just how Marylou and Tony treated their customers. I am a first time customer and wanted to send flowers to a local vendor I used as a thank you. I ordered a simple arrangement online for delivery and thought I was done. The arrangement looked great online so I had good expectations when I ordered. I received a call the night before it was delivered from Tony telling me that the vase that was shown was unavailable so they wanted to inform me that they upgraded the vase and added extra flowers. They also sent me an email to tell me as well. (This was all at no cost to me). While talking to Tony, he also informed me that they would make sure to send me a picture of the final product to make sure I was happy with it. I've NEVER been sent a picture of arrangement I've ordered so it was really nice of them to do that. Overall, this small florist was very honest, upfront and a complete pleasure to work with. I called Buds & Bows from out of state, late afternoon, in need of a same day flower delivery order after already being told "no, it's way too late for that" but multiple shops in the area. Their customer service was some of the best I have ever experienced, anywhere. I spoke with Tanya, who was fantastic. She checked to make sure they would be able to fulfill my order, and assured me it was doable, even though it was later in the day. She asked about my price point, told me the kinds of arrangement they would be able to put together, and made sure she knew what kind of "feel" I wanted the flowers to convey -- they were being sent as a "thank you" but also a "get well". When the flowers went out for delivery, I was sent a photo of the final arrangement and was blown away by how great it looked. I ordered a sympathy bouquet from the folks at Buds & Bows through their website. They photographed the bouquet arrangement for me and then committed to delivering the flowers to the widower by the date and time that was stated on their website. Unbeknownst to me, the widower had just moved. I had an old address. The owner, Tony, contacted me multiple times and said he persisted in trying to locate the recipient. Buds & Bows stated they would try to re deliver and even offered to waive the delivery fee. In the end, the widower did receive the flowers and Buds & Bows were very good about letting me know by phone and email that the flowers did finally get received. Whew! BUDS and BOWS is a wonderful florist! I live several hours away and this was first time using this florist. My sister was in the hospital and I ordered this flower arrangement just minutes before the florist closed on the 13th, for delivery on Valentine's day. The arrangement turned out beautiful and exactly what I wanted . The roses were very fresh and fragrant and still look beautiful 5 days later. I really appreciated that this florist sent emails to let me know the arrangement was completed, and also an email stating it was delivered. I will certainly use this florist again. These folks, I agree, are the kindest and most helpful folks ever. They truly went out of their way to help, even though their shop was closing in 10 minutes. I wanted a special arrangement for my Niece and her Husband who had just purchased her first home - and had only been there for 1-day. I had an idea of what I wanted but was not 100%. The owner and wife sent me photos of what they might recommend based on the info I gave them. Right away the photos of the flowers were gorgeous and they gave me ideas as to how they would present them. I live in Clearwater, Fl, however, I had seen the web site for Buds and Bows a few months earlier and decided when I needed to send flowers to Melbourne I would use them. I am still amazed at the excellent service I received. Tony went above and beyond to make the entire process actually enjoyable. I live out of state. I sent a flower arrangement to my elderly relative with specific instructions, which included asking the florist to call me to confirm they delivered the arrangement. I received the call a few hours after I placed my order, which was totally the best customer service. In addition to that the gentleman I spoke with described the arrangement to me, which was a little different than what I expected. For my Birthday I received the most beautifully created floral arrangement in a white basket with a Happy Birthday balloon tied to the handle. It was sheer perfection and delivered by the nicest gentleman imaginable who not only had to deliver the flower basket, but also charm my barking Bichon Frise'. Over my many birthdays I have received numerous flower arrangements, but none comparable to this creatively designed order. This place is amazing. We had a death in the family recently and wanted to order flowers, A LOT of flowers. We were helped by the owner as she sat with us for almost an hour I think. The service was to take place in two days and I was a little concerned about the short notice but she made us feel assured that everything would be fine. The arrangements that arrived looked as good if not better than the pictures in the book! I cant thank them enough for their compassion and attention to detail. For years, literally years, I used another florist because their bouquets were nice. However, their delivery service was unreliable. I always specified a two hour window for delivery to ensure that someone was at home to receive it. They failed about 75% of the time. I tried Buds and Bows and for at least the two times I have used them in the past months they have delivered as requested. And the bouquets were better as well. Today's delivery for Mother's Day actually had roses that have a nice aroma, which seems to be rare these days for roses from a florist. read more

Awesome service and a beautiful delivery for a last minute emergency! I love the fact that they take a photo of the actual arrangement before delivery and then tell you it was delivered. Sometimes I just wonder, did they get the flowers? Great service for a last minute need. I found them by googling "Melbourne florist" and the name and rating caught my eye. Buds & Bows was able to deliver an arrangement after normal business hours, deal with an annoying gate system at the delivery address, and make someone's night. Not only that, but I thought the delivery price for a unique request (after hours) was very reasonable. The arrangement was gorgeous. And the customer service was spectacular. Very impressed with the service. I called on Monday, hoping for delivery on Monday or Tuesday. Tony helped me decide what would work best in a challenging situation. He was very pleasant and helpful, and didn't make me feel rushed. I was happy to learn that the dish garden I requested was delivered just 1-2 hours later. The arrangement of balloons with a bud vase was better than expected (see photos taken by a local family member), delivery was very fast, and the gentleman who took my order was exceptionally thorough and pleasant to deal with!
