Me and my dad replaced all speakers in the vehicle after I purchased it, I've had them for years and they worked just fine. The speakers are built to support heavy base and high decibels, my speaker would not sound how it does today if I did not take my vehicle to campus garage. Furthermore, a couple years ago I took my vehicle to campus garage because it was leaking oil. They told me my radiator was busted and needed replacing immediately, not true. Antifreeze is green oil is not green. (The misdiagnosis was confirmed incorrect by the dealership). I should've known to not to take my vehicle there again no matter how much time has passed. Ron's told my husband they would have to charge for an inspection (don't remember getting a price), the alignment was going to be about $100, and we didn't get a price on taking the strut spacers off. We get a call later in the day saying the alignment is done and it's as aligned as it's going to get and it's going to be $170 for the alignment and that they didn't take the spacers off because it was going to be $1000 to remove the spacers. To better assist customers, they should have called us before doing the alignment if they knew or even had a hunch they wouldn't be taking the spacers off. We were told they were going to charge us 170$ plus $140 for inspection. On top of that, we have to get a new alignment after getting our spacers off since you're supposed to take spacers off first. In hindsight, we should have read yelp reviews instead of Google reviews because there were reviews of people with similar experiences. So we took my truck to Trickles and they quoted us about 600 for the strut spacers and the new alignment. We went back to Ron's and told them our situation hoping they would be understanding and they said they'll only charge us for the inspection so they charged us $147. We were also informed at the checkout process that they weren't familiar with spacers/lift kits on ford trucks, which is fine, but I just wish we would have known that before dropping our keys off with them. I'm just very disappointed in the lack of communication because we didn't need the work they did if they weren't going to take the strut spacers off. I wish we were told before they proceeded with the repairs. Summary: They should have called us after the inspection and told us the combined cost of the strut spacer removal AND the alignment. Instead they did just the alignment even though we'll have to get another one after strut spacers are removed. I give it three stars because I appreciate not having to pay for the alignment but I did not have a good time, definitely didn't want to pay $147 just to have to take my truck somewhere else. The alignment and inspection is reasonably priced if you're not getting it for no reason.

Do not allow your mechanic to install Interstate Batteries model# MR-S1R. It is known to be…read moredefective and you'll spend hundreds of dollars for the shop to figure it out. In July 2022 I took my car in for an early minor tune up as we were moving and finding a honest, reliable mechanic isn't an easy task, especially for a woman. The only issue found was the car needed a new battery. The shop installed Interstate Batteries model# MR-S1R. We moved in Aug 2022. In Dec 2022 my car started having issues of intermittent starting with no interior lights. Upon checking battery connections, the car would start. After several instances, I contacted Interstate Batteries to locate a mechanic to replace the battery. I contacted a local mechanic, told them of my issues and informed them all I wanted was for them to change my battery as it was under warrantee. They went through their list of possible issues and I explained why none of them were the issue. I informed them of the minor tune up in Jul 2022 and how the only work done was changing the battery. The shop told me to bring my car and they would test the battery and change it per the warranty. After sitting at the shop for 2 hour, they informed me they don't know what's wrong with my car. They said they would change the battery and test my car to ensure if was running properly. If there were still issues, then they would need to diagnostic testing on my car. The shop had my car for 48 hours and I thought something was majorly wrong. Turns out they ran the diagnostics on my car before installing a new battery. When they finally changed the battery and all the issues stopped. When I picked up my car I was informed the battery was known to have issues. I was livid because they told me on the phone it wasn't the battery and needed to do diagnostic testing. The shop charged me almost the same amount of money I spent back in July 2022 when the battery was installed. The shop told me they were required by Interstate Batteries to prove the battery was defective. Even though it ended up being the battery, which was replaced under warranty, I ended up paying the mechanic for a known defective product. Upon contacting Interstate Batteries to complain about the warranty process knowing their product was defective. They said they would investigate and reimburse if they thought their product was proven to be defective. Though they did reimburse paying for another battery, it didn't cover the forced cost of their required diagnostic testing. Some scam they have going on to rid hard-working people out of their money. Then I found out the shop could have installed any battery brand. Stay away from Interstate Batteries as they knowingly sell defective products.
