The money they make goes back to support those organizations and help those women. I think there was only one employee working when we visited and she greeted us when we entered and seemed very friendly, but not overbearing or ever hovering while we were browsing. The selection was massive and I'm only docking the review a point because mostly everything seemed a little pricey. I'm not sure if the ornaments are imported or anything. While their main draw is their fantastic candy display, what truly impressed me was the wild selection of specialty sodas they carried. Bacon soda? Cream sodas that look straight out of the 50's? Half liter (medio litro) size Mexicokes? Yes, yes, and yes, they have it all! The cherry on top was their prices, all of which were quite reasonable. The cashier was nice, and pleasantly answered a few questions I had about their offerings. I can tell this place is family-run, as all the employees seem vested in the success of the store.
