I am so glad I went, and to Dr. Gordon in particular. His staff is very friendly and professional! As a "medical wimp," the staff was very patient with me and even showed me what would happen before they performed some of the procedures on me. Dr. Gordon had a wonderful and down-to-earth personality (not to mention a great source of humor!) that immediately put me at ease, made me feel like a genuinely valued person, and helped me understand with utmost clarity the findings of the exam. The waiting room was also comfortable and included a TV and several of the books Dr. Gordon has authored. There is also a laboratory with many styles of frames to choose from on-site. I would highly recommend Dr. Gordon to anyone, but especially to people like myself who get nervous during medical procedures and need a reassuring presence. I would (and plan to!) completely trust Dr. Gordon with the eye care needs of myself, my husband, and my children someday.

My wife has been trying to get me to switch to this establishment for years. Our son was poked in…read morethe eye by his brother this morning. He was fine one minute and in agony the next so we decided it was time to go get him looked at. My wife describes the situation and we are told they "schedule certain times for emergency patients". Call another doctor instead. "Can you come now?!" So if you need glasses you may be fine with this doctor. But if you have an emergency and are going here they clearly want to try and force you into the emergency room rather than deal with you. Scheduled emergencies? What a joke. My turn to try and get my wife to switch Doctors now.
