appointment was at 8:30, but then he started texting me so I get there. 8:36. paperwork was most I ever filled out in my life! A lady showed up at 9 o'clock and he said I'm gonna help her real fast as I sat there almost an hour and a half. I told him I was ready to leave. He said oh OK. And I told him why did I have an appointment at 8:30 so finally he rushes me in the room and starts asking me if I feel pressure like I told him I never had Acupuncture done before. The other place didn't ask me a lot of questions Jay just put the little needles with electrodes on it for a half hour. He did his barely 10 minutes and then why I was still sitting in the waiting room before I went in there another lady showed up and she started saying why are you taking her over me? It's my appointment time and he said oh don't worry don't worry. And then the lady started said she was leaving that he always does that he always overbooks and she left crying so I could see this is a pattern with him. If my appointment is at 8:30 he starts texting me at 8:15 telling me to go to the bathroom before I come reminding me of my appointment. I told him he was causing me stressed and I was trying to make a smoothie but I feel he wasn't really even there yet because when I drove up, he was out in front waiting.. first appointment I had I canceled ahead of time a couple of days before because I told him I was going to the emergency room then the second he made I showed up and then he wasn't even there. He said he forgot to put me in his I come at a later time second red flag so then the third one he booked me at 8:30 got that 836 and I didn't even get in there. I told him I'm ready to leave like it's almost been an hour and a half. The lady was in there over an hour that should up at 9 AM and he's in there having a long conversation with her. I don't know very unprofessional and obviously this happens you forgot my appointment. The other lady came in and said it's my appointment time and he said oh just give me a minute just give me a minute. rehearse saying you do this all the time and started crying and she said she was leaving and he kept saying no no it's not gonna be long. It's not gonna be long then hurries me up and then. barely get a 10 minute so I'm gonna be reporting to Medicare to make sure he doesn't overbill because I don't know what consultation he gave me. He made me do a few like marching steps in the front office. and move my arms a couple of different ways I don't know just very unprofessional. his name is show up for the first appointment and the second appointment almost there close to hour and 47 minutes, I would not recommend he has no time management. This is happened before the lady said why do you always do this and I could hear her he only has one room and that's pretty cluttered and he has two tables and it was so uncomfortable my head laying in there cause there was barely any cushion. I've been coming here for years due to injuries caused by RUNNIG but he knows his stuff and takes care of it quickly and explains the problem, what might have caused it, the solution and how to prevent further injury.. even tho I like in San Fernando valley I still keep coming here. I'm not sure where to start because I have so much to say about Mr. Yohan Ko. I've been going to Mr. Yohan Ko for about a year now, for different things. He is excellent and genuinely a very caring person. He seems to know your body better than yourself, he is very in tuned with your body. When I started going to Buena Salud I was suffering from a bad case of stress. Major neck and shoulder pain, I was cracking my neck every 20-30 minutes, this was going on for over a year. After my very FIRST session the cracking was GONE! Sciatica? Gone! Another time, I went to see him because I had a bad migraine. He inserted the needles and 20 minutes later the migraine was almost gone. He asked me how I felt, I told him that I still had pain behind my left eye, he inserted a needle in my neck and removed immediately, I felt an unusual rush? pain? pressure? not sure how to describe it but he asked me if I still felt the pain behind my left eye and it was GONE! 2 weeks ago, on a Saturday, I went to see him because I had unusual stomach bloating and a sharp pain under my right rib case. I thought it was just a bad case of indigestion. I was laying on the exam table, he asked me to pull up the legs of my pants... At this point I thought he had misunderstood where I had my pain, and I repeated to him my pain was in my stomach NOT my legs. Again, he repeated to please pull up the legs from my pants. I did, he immediately placed his finger next to my fibula bone on my right leg and started to rub that area with pressure... I screamed in pain! So embarrassing! But I asked him why that hurt so much? He said, because you have GALLSTONES!!!! Gallstones???! WTF! What does my leg have to do with Gallstones?! He seriously had lost it this time! He placed some needles in my legs and arms to release some pain from my stomach area. It did release some pain. As soon as I got in my car, I got my phone and started to check to for Gallstones Symptoms on WebMD. I only had a couple of the symptoms stated. I still thought Mr. Yohan Ko had lost it this time. The following Monday I went to get an ultrasound... Guess what???! I HAD GALLSTONES!!! I highly recommend Yohan Ko! The only downside is the area where his office is located. It's in the hood of South Central. I live in Downey, so the drive there sucks but totally worth it. I have recommended MANY friends and family to him and all have been EXTREMELY satisfied. Yohan Ko is the best Acupuncturist ever!! I went to see Mr.Ko around one month ago, desperate, down and in pain in my neck, ears, nose, and head. I was been sick with a bad case of rhinitis and allergies for almost five (5) months and my primary Doctor, saying it was a bacteria, just prescribed me antibiotics for 120 days! With no results. Since the first moment I saw Mr. Ko, I knew that I was in good hands. He is a good listener, and after I told him my history, he said that any kind of antibiotic will never work because my problem was not in my nose, but in a nerve that holds the head and it was completely exhaust and with inflammation due to many hours being with my head down (true, my desk chair was higher than my computer, not at the same level). Mr. Ko worked in my neck and head and as a miracle, the next minute my pain was almost gone. As today, after 4 sessions, I am almost 100% well. If you really want help go to Yohan Ko. I am medical doctor trained in Western medicine, but I am willing to drive almost 2 hours to have Yohan work out my aches and pains. He has helped me in all aspects, including fatigue, poor posture, and knee pain. I have gone to him around 10 times now and he has yet to disappoint. Not all my ailments required acupuncture. On a few occasional he provides just excellent massages and tension release of the ligaments. Whatever the treatment modality, the end result as always been to my satisfaction. Yohan is very humble and has an easy going personality. Best of all, his prices are incredible. For the time he works with you and his attention to detail, I would be willing to pay 2-3 X what he charges. I highly recommend him! read more
