Some of the bunkers are muddy after rain but reasonably maintained. The front nine is interesting but the back nine is a little boring. Almost like an afterthought. After 10 & 11 it's back and forth all the way home. Efficient use of land, but not very interesting. This year they have updated the cart fleet with Club Cars. A very welcome value add. I recommend this course for love the game. (Just not when I want a tee time.)

This is a review of there website ordering. Placed an order last week for some gifts for my golf…read morebuddies this week. Noticed the great price. The website was easy to maneuver and I was able to use a coupon, which made it even cheaper. Placed the order and received a confirmation email stating that when the item ships an email will be sent with tracking number. Checked my credit card statement and showed the payment was processing. One week later still no email or products. Emailed company and said order was cancelled because credit card did not go through. No email telling me it was cancelled. My thoughts they did not have the item in stock for the price promised. Their prices are cheaper than every golf website I've seen. This should have been a warning. I will never order from them.

This place is a disgrace, and should close sooner, rather than hang on and hope. Tee boxes are overrun with weeds, bunkers are overrun with prairie grass AND weeds, greens are most likely diseased and dying, horrible signage to let you know where you are going on the course, the list goes on and on and on! If there wasn't a sign saying they were open, I would have assumed that this course had shut down and no maintenance was taking place. It was BAD! I guess I should have known it wasn't going to be enjoyable though, when 9 holes WITH A CART was $8. That is not a typo, eight bucks! I guess you get what you pay for. If all you are looking for, is a place to get drunk and drive around in some speedy carts for less than it would cost you to go go-karting, then this place is for you. We try to pay for our pre-booked Tee time and are told that the carts have to be in by 6:25 so "there is literally no way you can play 18, you can only do 9." Low and behold we finish our 9 with enough time to start the next 9 and are chased down by another employee asking if we paid for 18 (which we were told we couldn't) the employee then told us to leave. We were more than willing and ready to pay for 18 even if we didn't finish the course by the cart turn in time! I will add that the women behind the snack bar is very sweet and accommodating. However, this course needs to look a little closer at who they're hiring and exactly what their policies are. River Heights is not much farther and far more friendly don't waste your money or time here.
