Buerger Brothers Construction built an addition to our home, which included a 700+ square foot garage, using concrete poured on Piers and a floor poured as a "Slab on void" due to bad soils report. They also built a new deck, and managed front yard landscaping. They are an honest, ethical, professional, and an excellent company to do business with. We started planning in May of 2019, with construction from June through October of 2020, we found ways to work during the early days of the Covid pandemic. Communicating with Christian was a breeze, he was easy to talk to, responsive, professional and truly cares about what you are conveying. Because I am a retired engineer I had to stick my nose into everything... From the beginning he brought in professionals from the Architect, Structural Engineers to the finishing Carpenter and Painter, each step was amazing and all within budget. The cadre of subcontractors hired by Burger Brothers had to meet a high standard of professionalism and produce a high quality product, they were all wonderful to work with. Of note, was the daily cleanup, the care taken and the security to the existing area, especially working in the midst of a pandemic! Inconvenience was kept to a minimum and in the end we can actually say the complete project went quite smoothly and was a great experience. Would I hire them to do it again? Absolutely "In a heartbeat, no doubt about it!" I just cannot brag enough about this company and I promise you will not regret your decision to hire Christian and his crew! I could go on and on, but you get the gist.... if you want honesty and professionalism, these are your guys! Buerger Brothers built us a new deck in 2022, as ours was old and becoming a safety hazard. They also replaced our back gate with a custom-made door that locks from both directions. Christian was great to work with, he was knowledgeable and communicative throughout the process. He provided guidance every step of the way and helped us determine what would work best in our space. There were a few challenges along the way that caused the project to take longer than expected, but the quality of the work is excellent. We appreciate the crew's attention to detail and their diligence in getting it done. Christian and his team built a basement bathroom for us in 2019. It was such a joy to work with him and I really felt comfortable with him as a person as well as with his professional experience. We ran into an issue where the city didn't send us confirmation that our permit had been approved for months after we actually had been approved and Christian remained diligent in trying to get our project started. Our bathroom is still perfect nearly 4 years later and we haven't had any issue with anything, including an underground pump for the toilet that I was skeptical of. Buerger Brothers literally saved my home after another individual committed fraud and did some really shoddy work. I had a structural beam installed that ended up not being structurally sound. I contacted Christian and he came out ASAP to look at the project. He scoped out the work and let me know exactly what was needed. My kitchen was already 100% done so he and his crew had a huge task in front of them to try and keep things liveable for my family. Again, they did a phenomenal job! Everyone of Christian's subcontractors knew exactly what they were doing. Not once did I feel the need to question them on a task. As the job went on, more and more problems were identified from the previous work. Christian communicated each one while also providing solutions. He confirmed costs with me before starting the work and then got them fixed. The best part about the project is that you would never know his team was even here. Most, if not, all of their work happened behind the walls and they patched/painted everything so well, that it's seamless. I cannot say enough good about Buerger Brothers Construction. Christian gave me appropriate information within the quotes and I was able to modify the quote and talk through options (thicker pickets). Pricing was competitive, as I had several other places say they could not go lower. Z came and performed the work during a snow/rainstorm over the course of 3 days. He was in good spirit the entire time, despite the horrible weather. From the day we spoke on the phone about our need for a new fence, he was responsive, helpful and followed through with his promises. He was at my house to give me an estimate the day after we spoke and his estimate was exactly what the final bill stated. He was honest about how busy his team was and set the date for our new fence 6-8 weeks out and gave me 10 days notice to allow us time to prepare the ground around the old fence for demolition. Christian, our project manager at Buerger Brothers, was amazing to work with from start to finish. We have a 115 year old house and he was upfront and honest about some roadblocks that might come up along the way, so we were not surprised by anything. He kept us in the loop throughout the course of our project. Ron, who was doing the work on our home, was awesome! He gave us updates at the end of each day. They did a complete, top to bottom home remodel for me on a 1906 cottage in South Denver. To say that it was a daunting job to undertake is an understatement. The home was in very poor shape and had had many low quality additions or modifications in years gone by that had to be "undone". In the process, it was discovered that part of the home was actually disconnected from the foundation. Buerger Brothers presented a solution at a reasonable cost and the project continued to move ahead. We had to remodel our upstairs bathroom due to a leak and so I contacted Christian at Buerger Brothers who also happens to be an old friend from high school. Together they worked with our insurance company to cover the majority of the cost for the remodel. Since we had to remodel it anyways we decided to invest a little of our own money to really make it look like how we wanted. My wife and I picked out all the tile, fixtures and bathtub that they ended installing. They were very patient while we designed the bathroom and were always upfront with how much something would cost and helped us with our decisions. We ended up having a full frameless glass shower installed which brought some challenges. This was a unique install so unfortunately the weight of the shower glass pushed the tile from the shower pan up and caused the grout to separate from the tile. Luckily Christian and Mike figured out what the issue was and had to redo part of the shower pan which solved the issue. All in all we were extremely happy with how our bathroom turned out and have gotten many compliments for it. We would highly recommend Buerger Brothers for any project you might have. read more

Christian and his crew did a remodel of our master bathroom and the reconfiguration of our second floor to create a new bedroom. From the start to the finish the work that he and his team did was truly top notch. Christian's quote wasn't the lowest, but it was within the range. Given the complexity of the job and the many unknown variables at the outset, I was amazed at how close we were to that number at the end. I have no doubt that other contractors would have made many adjustments to the price along the way, but a Christian's experience showed as he prepared us for the process and built in the appropriate contingencies to meet our budgetary expectations. His team of contractors was amazing. They care and artistry with which they approached the job was phenomenal. I still marvel daily at the care with which they laid out marble tiles. This could have been done haphazardly, and yet they found ways to enhance the patterns in the natural stone in ways I would have never expected. The end result was beyond what we could have expected, and we are as in love with it today as we were the day the job completed. His team was also amazingly conscientious in our space. We have small children, and they were sure to clean their work site each night before they left, and let us know of anything we needed to be aware of in the space. As I told Christian when the job was done, this house has three floors, and we know exactly who we will call when we are ready for our next project. We remodeled 1 bathroom, added a bathroom and did the kitchen, and some significant space reconfiguration to make all this work out. It was a true pleasure to work with Christian, Ron, and the crew! We lived in the house during remodel and they kept it clean every day and made the whole process so easy to live with. Buerger Brothers did a Kitchen remodel for us. We had a load bearing wall removed and a structural support beam added. Christian is a fantastic general contractor. He is so easy to talk to, always even-tempered, exceptionally bright, calm, and fair. He is also super responsive. From the very first consult to the completion of the project Christian rarely missed my calls. If he did, he called back quickly. Christian was meticulous in the planning stages, we spent lots of time on design, engineering, and mock ups, in order to make sure we eliminated as many surprises as possible. Once the work started we had a stellar project manager/master carpenter (Larry), who showed up every week day by 8:00 am, until the very last day. It was such a comfort to know that our project manager would be on site even on days other subcontractors had to be here. Larry served as an advocate for us with the other subs, making sure our wishes were being communicated. Perhaps the most important thing for folks looking for their GC--Christian stayed within budget and kept us posted when anything changed or needed to be addressed. Our project went 10 weeks instead of the projected 6-8, but that makes sense given the disruption to supply chains with COVID-19. We were of course worried about having all of this work done during a pandemic, Christian was very supportive in making sure everyone who visited the site took proper precautions. He also helped us establish a critical barrier with a zipper wall to keep the work space isolated from the rest of the house.
