Rafael responded promptly to my initial request for a proposal. After evaluating multiple bids, I went with Palmira. All other things being equal (which actually was not the case with the bids) I liked supporting a local small business. Rafael was responsive via email and text. He made some adjustments to the initial bid after I changed my mind on some smaller items. We had all of the exterior trim on the house painted and almost all of the interior rooms. The crew was on time every morning and finished ahead of schedule. They took care taping and covering to prep the painting areas. The crew did miss one section of the living room wall above the windows, and I didn't catch it during the final walkthrough. The team at Palmira is professional, kind, and communicative. On Yelp and by text they respond promptly and professionally, and make it easy to get a quote unlike many other contractors (I spoke with nearly 30 contractors for various work to be done on a new house purchase). Bonus about Palmira is that I hired them to repaint my kitchen cabinets but it turns out they can do many other kinds of jobs, too! They repainted cabinets in my bathroom, patched holes in my cabinet doors, added new hardware to my kitchen, and noticed a garage post beginning to curve out of place and did a temporary fix and told me how to better enforce it. They kept an eye on other things around the house which was helpful for me to learn. At the end of each day they offered a video and photos of the work completed. They were gracious about requested touch ups and addressing my nit-picky call outs. I ADORE my kitchen and bathroom now. The work they did made me excited to move in.
