What do you call dollars that are printed in Buffalo? Buffalo Bills, of course. And what do you…read morecall the beaks of ducks that live in Buffalo? Buffalo Bills! And what do you call it when you get letters from your credit card company or the electric company, based in Buffalo, telling you how much you owe them? A nightmare is what you call it! I've seen the Bills play live in person probably 15 times. A few times on the road, and a whole bunch of times at home. They make an intense amazing noise and are one of the best fan bases of any sport anywhere in the world. I love this team even though they need to remember how to run a team. Hopefully the new owner will figure that out. So far so good. My old review was a bit negative. With the new excellent coach, and the new owners injecting some hope, I am raising my homeawayfromhometown team to a 5. I still like the Chiefs a tiny bit better though... Here's my old review. I have to give the Buffalo Bills a 4/5 just because I would feel guilty if I didn't. However there is far more negative to say than positive. (1) The constant rumours that they are leaving town are hard to take. It hurts to lose 4 Superbowls in a row, but it's worse to constantly think that the team will leave. They should come out and say that as long as we get X support that we need to survive here, then we will not leave. Otherwise it's hard not to be a bit down about them. (2) They are hiring very poor coaches, over and over again. The new one might be different, actually, but previously, some of the worst hires in the NFL. This has always been done to save money. It just makes the team stagnate and costs the team more money in the long run. I mean seriously... Dick Jauron? (3) Not enough is done to pack the stadium. In Buffalo, such a passionate sports town, the stadium should always be packed. There are ways to make sure it is packed. (4) More exciting players should be brought in. I know that costs money, but the team is also making a lot of money and should try and give the fans some excitement in return. The one good thing I can say is, the way the team was run in the early 90s was amazing. To go to 4 Superbowls for such a small provincial town team is incredible. I am still impressed by that, and even though they didn't win anything, they deserve all the credit in the world for that.

If you enjoy shooting sporting clays with your shotgun then this is the place for you, otherwise if…read moreyou're a pistol shooter then forget it. This club could care less about pistol shooters. Now while they do have a few pistol ranges that are outdoors, they are closed during shotgun sporting clay events. And since they have the sporting clay events every Sunday, this means that the pistol ranges are closed during this event. And the event lasts anywhere from 10 o'clock in the morning until 5 o'clock at night. They also have sporting clay events on Saturdays at times. And on the Saturdays when they don't have sporting clay events they sometimes reserve the pistol range for outside training through Rochester personal defense. So if you're looking to shoot on the weekend and you're a pistol shooter it can be very tough to find a time that works. I also feel the pistol ranges are very unsafe. In order to shoot on the pistol range, you simply pick a spot in the middle of the field and shoot at the target that cannot be moved. So if somebody else wants to shoot at a different location you either have to both shoot from the same location or you have to wait. There is no sort of signaling system to let others know people are down range so you really have to be careful. I have been a member for a year and came to this facility for pistol shooting and I do not plan on renewing because it is obviously clear that this club was designed for those who like to shoot sporting clays.

I think female athletes should be paid comparably to the men and their matches should be advertised…read moreand televised similarly, as with Tennis. Unfortunately capitalism discriminates only based on "marketability", and the concept can be manipulated by dinosaurs and sexists and often is. Until the whole of sport and culture gets behind women's sport, there will be problems. It's a small tragedy, really. And this first paragraph was not a joke. But on with the jokes. This is not a good team to take kids to go and see, unless your family are nudists, because this WNY team tend to, well... "Flash". A lot. But then they are fantastic athletic specimens (or speciwomens as the case may be) of humanity, so you really shouldn't complain. I jest, there is no skin on offer at these matches except the skin of the enemies after the WNY Flash annihilate them. Sponsored by Sahlen's hot dogs of Buffalo, this team has been absolutely dominent in women's soccer in the USA. They have a lovely red and yellow badge that looks a lot like the Sahlen's hot dog badge, and they practice at Sahlen's Sports Park (where I play amateur level soccer sometimes), which is a fantastic facility in Elma just near Buffalo. Alex Sahlen, the daughter of the owner, is a defender on the team and is also the President. They've had some of the top talent in world football such as Marta of Brazil - the greatest female player ever, no less - and (swoon) Alex Morgan. Gemma Davison of England, Kelly Parker, American tattooed superstar Sydney LeRoux, Christine Sinclair, Carli Harris, and one of the greatest players ever - Abby Wambach. Unlike the men's team (Rhinos), the women's team actually plays in the very top tier of football, wherehey are a true dynasty of women's football. They won the league in 2010, 2011, 2012, and 2013, although they lost the play off final in 2013 but won the regular season supporters' shield. They are seemingly virtually unstoppable and yet much of Western NY does not have them on their radar. OK, this year they're not doing so well, and whoever decided to continue games during the Women's World Cup... never mind. If they did indeed "Flash" the crowd then they would have to be renamed the "WNY Flesh", and if they dined on Garbage Plates, then they'd have to keep a lot of portapotties next to the field and rename themselves "WNY Flush." And for the English players on the roster, I recommend some "WNY Floss." And when it gets cold in winter, perhaps they can wear a "WNY Fleece." Please go out and watch them play - one of the most dominant sports teams in the country right now and we have them right here in Western NY with very cheap tickets and some superstars of the women's game on the team.
