I had bamboo flooring installed almost 2 years ago. I've had problems with it almost since day one…read moredue to poor installation, and Lowes refuses to send someone out other than the installer to look at the issue. So I guess it's my fault that the planks are separating and not because they weren't glued together properly. There were other areas that were easy to get to, that the installer re-glued, and those ares are fine, but they don't want to fix the worst area because it would be too much work to get to it. I highly recommend NOT using Lowes for flooring installs. Terrible work, and terrible customer service!!

I purchased a closet system. I paid with my debit card. Lowe's submitted two holds on my card, both…read morefor the full amount of the purchase. I called the Fargo store and was told that nothing could be done at the local level. Fargo gave me a toll free number which I called and, after 21 minutes on the phone there, I was informed that the additional hold would stay in place but would go away in 3 to 10 days. In other words, my debit card has been charged double for the purchase and the corporate answer was, essentially, 'don't worry, the extra hold will eventually go away'. Meanwhile, if I use my card, the additional hold will undoubtedly affect approval of future purchases on the card.
