I had bamboo flooring installed almost 2 years ago. I've had problems with it almost since day one due to poor installation, and Lowes refuses to send someone out other than the installer to look at the issue. So I guess it's my fault that the planks are separating and not because they weren't glued together properly. There were other areas that were easy to get to, that the installer re-glued, and those ares are fine, but they don't want to fix the worst area because it would be too much work to get to it. I highly recommend NOT using Lowes for flooring installs. Terrible work, and terrible customer service!! read more

These assholes, especially the district manager, store manager, and some of the subordinates, decided to cancel my appliance order because I had words with them that the little pussies didn't like. These feckless wastes of skin/oxygen are completely useless, couldn't even have the installation guy call a day before with our dishwasher, and when installing, the fucker was talking on his phone non stop and arrived late as hell. Then, I was supposed to get the rest yesterday and the asshole store manager told me that the stove I ordered and purchased was not in stock (I know damn well it was) due to units being "damaged", which is the biggest bunch of bullshit I've ever heard, so I just told them where to go and how to get there, just deliver my shit, and when the stove gets in just deliver it and then get the fuck off my property. I'm going to go over the district manager's head and take this a step further. These dumbasses are going to lose their jobs. I will never shop at Lowe's ever again, I don't care if I lose a ten percent veteran discount. I suggest that no one ever shops there. read more

Horrible service when we needed to purchase a dishwasher. First, we couldn't find anyone in the appliances section. I went searching for someone and found someone with a cart of boxes. He called for someone. When the employee showed up, he was automatically aggressive. I asked about price matching and he immediately spoke down to me and with a very disparaging voice mentioned that they probably don't price match whatever website I found. He was dismissive in his attitude as he rang us up. As we asked about delivery options and pricing he acted as if my questions were bothersome. Another customer came up to him while he was working with us. The customer asked if there was someone who could help him with some cabinets. The employee responded rudely that he is the only one and he is busy. I was completely shocked at the absolute disrespect of this employee. I understand that he may have been stressed being the only one in the department, but his behavior was appalling. We spent $800 on a dishwasher and had previously spent about the same only a few months ago on a new washing machine. The employee who helped with the washing machine purchase was amazing! She did an exceptional job and was perfectly respectful, patient, and polite. Seems that the quality of the employees has gone down recently. I would never recommend someone go to Lowe's if the kind of service my family experienced only a couple days ago with the man in the appliance section is the norm. read more

Both of my parents died within months of each other and I have Lupus and Crohn's disease and am on disability. This is the forth house we have remodeled and we have NEVER had an awful experience like we had with Lowe's flooring. Bought product in February (15th) and install was to be March 21-22. On Friday night at 6:00 PM Lowe's sent Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum who spent four days making an absolute mess of our kitchen and laundry. After four days on a two day job my husband had to kick them out. March 27. We still are living with a tacky cement and NO appliances! No washer dryer. This is April 17. We were supposed to leave on April 15th to go see our grandchildren in Colorado. At first they said they would get someone right here as soon as the new product came. That came on the 10th, so we thought Good! Nope. They won't rearrange any schedule to make it right for us. They said April 26th. You might think, get the supervisors involved. We did. Absolutely a waste of our time! No help whatsoever. Since Lowe's doesn't do refunds we got out of the install but on we have a roll of vinyl and a HUGE mess. We recently retired and just do not need this kind of drama! read more

They do not honor their contracts. I paid for it all months ago and have had all the product here only to now be told to have what I had paid for done will now be thousands more. Even having it delivered was an ordeal. I paid to have it brought into my home and when they first delivered it they were just going to drop the pallet in my driveway in the snow despite my paying extra. Was told they were not going to do it so had to call the manager to get what I had paid for actually done. Now months later and I'm being told to even get the job done will be thousands more. Do. Lowe's did a complete remodel of my bathroom and now I have black mold growing from a leaky shower. They said a few weeks ago they would send my contractor out when he came back from vacation and it took me calling them several times to get a hold of anyone. Only for them to tell me the one year warranty of their install is over. So now I have to hire a new contractor to fix the mess they did to my bathroom. read more

We ordered over $18,000 worth of Diamond cabinets for our new home from this Lowe's thinking the customer service and quality would be better here than the competition (Menards and Home Depot) and boy were we wrong. We have had nothing but problems. We had cabinets come damaged, missing glaze on the doors, missing doors, dents, cracks, sent to the wrong address, and months and months of waiting for replacements and then the replacements coming finally with issues. We have tried to resolve things with the customer service rep at this store for weeks now and one excuse after another about the store rep not getting an answer from the Diamond cabinets rep, blah, blah, blah. If you are considering Lowe's or Diamond Cabinets for your home, you would be better off getting a custom cabinet maker to do the work. We have received nothing in terms of compensation for all we have been through and are still waiting for pieces to arrive to finish our kitchen. Worst experience ever! read more

Flooring that I purchased from Lowes was buckling. I had three people here measuring and taking pictures. I also had to send in pictures. This process took over a year. The conclusion was that the sun shining from my door, not a window, caused it to buckle and they were not responsible. This is the second time I have had issues with this flooring. I thought that Nick who worked in flooring, was joking about the reason they would not replace it. Terrible customer service and terrible product if it cannot withstand the sun. I never did get the results from the first two adjusters. I have purchased many items from lowes, but this will now be the last. read more

It took Grand Forks, ND, Lowes' Delivery and Installation Department (out-sourced in the Philippines) 2 weeks to deliver and install an air-conditioner. This was during the peak of the recent, Midwestern, heat-wave. I desperately needed an A.C. because I have asthma and the humidity was unbearable, not to mention I could have dropped dead from heat exhaustion. On top of this, the Delivery and Installation Dept. made, and cancelled, delivery appointments, 4 TIMES, during which I had to cancel and reschedule my medical appointments multiple times. I demanded a $100 Lowes gift card after the A.C. was finally delivered/installed by an in-store, WINDOW INSTALLATION, employee. I will not be using the gift card for any Lowes item that has to be delivered, nor, will I ever use Lowes again for anything. read more

Real customer service! I went in a few weeks ago to get some plywood and they will cut it to the size you need for no charge! And today I went in to price items to use for a church project and I had three knowledgeable people helping me the whole time through three departments. They know their stuff and are so friendly and willing to help the customer. When they didn't have the nails I was looking for in the size package I needed, they sent me to another hardware store in town telling me that it would be cheaper! Now that's what I call service! The employees at Menard's across the street could learn a thing or two about great customer service from the associates at Lowe's. read more

He was helping a young lady in front of me and totally skipped over me (waiting 15 minutes) to help another couple! I'd give this store a -5 if I could! Twice I've placed special orders, first for a bathroom vanity a few months ago and recently I ordered the cabinets to match that vanity. Last fall when We were building our house I ordered the vanity. It took something like 5 or 6 weeks to be shipped to the store and when I picked it up it was damaged. Yesterday my husband picked up my 2nd order, a couple of cabinets that match the vanity. We were already concerned because the boxes didn't look too good and sure enough both pieces are badly damaged. I don't know if this is happening in shipping or maybe in the warehouse at the store, but where ever this damage is happening somebody is clearly not handling these boxes with any care! I tried to email a manager named Kevin, who helped me resolve the problem with my first order and my message came back as "undeliverable". Apparently he no longer works there! I will be returning these items and I'm undecided about reordering! Maybe I'll try pickup at a different store which will be a much longer drive, but may be worth it if my cabinets arrive in one piece! read more

My first and last time ordering from Lowe's... Let me tell you about a company that moves your delivery dates around. Placed an order for a $1600 mower on June 6th, received an email from the Lowe's Delivery Team on June 9th stating that my delivery was scheduled for June 22nd (TWO WEEKS). I was a little miffed about the two-week timeframe, but I figured, "what the hell, I'm kind of out in the boonies, and at least it's scheduled on the weekend (I work M-F), so I'll take it". The morning OF THE SCHEDULED DELIVERY I get an email stating that the delivery date is now Tuesday, June 25th. I call the 1-800 number, speak to a customer service representative who hears the situation and puts me on hold so that she can speak with the store in question. She instead puts me on hold and then just drops me into a phone call with a person at the store, where I have to explain the situation over again. The guy tells me that the email with my original delivery date was from corporate, and that corporate really doesn't know what's going on with their stores, then tells me that he doesn't have a truck that goes to my area on the weekend; there's nothing that he's going to do to deliver my mower this weekend. Now I have to take time off of work to be at home when they drop the mower off, equaling lost wages and wasted time. Just great... thanks for that, Lowe's. read more

Well, the people that work here get 5 stars & they get 3 because sometimes they are out of stuff or always seem to be picked over for things needed for the season (humidifiers etc). However, I walked in & stopped and was looking up at the signs trying to figure where to go in the giant warehouse and within 5 seconds someone asked me if I needed help and walked me right to what I needed. She didn't know about what I wanted, but sent someone else immediately over to help me. WAAAAYYYYY better customer service than I have experienced across the street at Menards. I'll likely go here next time I need something instead of Menards because the staff is much better. read more
