i took my camry in and it is a japa made so i took it in for a transaxel flud drain and refill and…read moretold them which fluid and that you must use crush washers when you reinstall the drain plug and the refill plug with crush washers to prevent leaks and as i got home i found a few drops of fluid allreadydropped on clean concret as sure enough it will leak because the washers theyused were not rigt and i insisted but theymade o effort to get right washers even though i gave them parts number from toyota and they said this is what i have to use and tey put on washers thatwill not seal the correctwas as i need the aluminum crushale to fit the texture of the aluninum housing so it wont leak. im going tomorrow to see terry salamat and if they wont correct prolem i will hire an attorey. i had a previous problem with themi last year.i had a clock spring on my nissa rogue not put on right-i went back and they tampered with it so i accepted and left. now im afraid thatthey didnt even change the fluid maybe checked it and put plugs in using same washers tom said. i was charged over 70 dollars for a gallon of supposedly dexron 111 fluid even though i needed on 2 quarts. also labor brough bill to a little over 163 dollars plus the worry now as i have to have it fixed correctly. i hope people will stop using this place as they are money hungry and dont do correct job. i cant take foto as im old and my cell phone is a flip phone-no camera als repairo i told tom i dont have money to waste as im 78 years old on soc security and need car worked on right. he said old car always has leaks but tis had o new leak until today ad leak was clear oil not black or brown fluid-i just hope something can be done to people like this. i even did all the leg work on computer getting info on my car etc and fluid it hasto have and all about the transaxel and model number. idid all i can do and want them to refund my money so i can get it fixed right at toyota dealer

It's a 30-35 minute drive for me, but I was told Edward is honest and trustworthy, so I decided to get a second opinion. I called on a Mon morning, and Edward mentioned he was pretty busy and suggested I come in on Tues January 6. He had a doctor's appointment that morning and asked us to arrive at 11:15 am, which we did. After explaining the issues, he diagnosed the problem by 12:30 pm and recommended four items to be fixed. The total quote came close to $2K which was more than I expected. His initial assessment aligned with what my former mechanic had said, but additional repairs--especially replacing the spark plugs. While that hurt the budget, I understood the necessity. I had afternoon commitments, so I asked if a loaner car was available. I truly appreciated Edward lending me his Toyota Camry so I could make it to my event. He promised my car would be ready by 5:30 pm and I returned to pick it up as scheduled. Unfortunately, within five minutes of driving, the engine light came on and the car began shaking slightly. I immediately returned, and Edward told me to keep the loaner car overnight and come back on Wednesday so he could run a more thorough diagnostic. On Wed around 11 am, he texted to say the car was ready. I picked it up at 1 pm, and I've been driving it for several days now with no issues. Overall, despite the initial hiccup, I'm grateful Edward was able to take me in, stand behind his work, and ultimately fix my vehicle. His willingness to recheck the issue and provide a loaner car made a stressful situation much easier to manage.

As he walking up, he saw the issues immediately. The very next morning, he had someone here installing cameras, one way doors and sealing the roof. Within 48 hours, we were able to catch multiple squirrels getting into the attic in several different areas we didn't know about. He has been constantly updating us with what he is catching on the cameras and is coming to seal the other holes we found tomorrow. I ended up paying a supposedly discounted total of $348.20 at Mike Tates 99 Auto for an oil change,…read morea tire rotation, and a battery installation and registration using a battery I provided. This turned out to be an incredibly frustrating and costly experience. The shop charged $221.94 just for the battery service, which was particularly disappointing considering a local O'Reilly's had offered to do the installation for free if I purchased the battery from them. The service was also plagued by unnecessary delays and oversight. I was forced to pay out-of-pocket for two unexpected Uber rides because the shop kept my vehicle overnight, claiming the mechanic lacked the "proprietary tool" required to remove the battery. In reality, the job only requires a standard 10mm socket for the terminals and a 13mm socket with an extension for the hold-down bolt. To make matters worse, despite paying for a tire rotation, the shop completely missed that two of the rotated tires were left low on pressure. I chose to support a neighborhood business, but this experience was a lesson well learned.
