We signed up for services 1.5 years ago. At first it seemed to be working but we have since had several spiders, ants and mice inside of our vacation home. Bug King responded by adding internal poison bait stations which seemed to only cause more mice to come into the house. We were offered an up charged monthly rental "exterior bait station" which I declined. I have since placed several traps inside of the residence (about $20 worth) and solved the mouse problem myself. I will be spraying the residence myself for now on to save the $185 Bug King charged to do very little. Also, if you decide to give them a try make sure you read the fine print on their contracts. I saw (1 year contract) on the original bill/paperwork and missed the part where it automatically renews with early cancellation fees. I am not normally so harsh towards small businesses but this entire experience felt like I was getting fleeced at a used car dealership. read more

Waited for appt. Jennifer very nice & professional over phone, confirmed day before. Guy showed Jason, he was quite large, I told him I don't think he would fit going into crawl space - he said " we don't go into crawl space". I asked him if he sprays all rooms, he said " no, that's old way, we only do entry ways, and outside". I told him outside is covered by condo association & we cannot have any vendor do any work outside or we can be fined. He said " you are wrong, we do others in this development". I asked him want their fees are, twice, he said " we are not on the same page". I asked him again cost. He turned to leave and I said goodbye. As my wife walked him downstairs he said to her " your rude & you're F***in people & went to his car. We called Jennifer to report his vulgar & unprofessional demeanor- still waiting for call back! After renovating our bathroom in our Lake Naomi Pocono House, we discovered we have carpenter ants. Even in the snow, within an hour, Bug King came out and not only took care of the immediate problem but explained how carpenter ants live and effect the rest of the house - never one colony! We agreed to the service plan. Then, when we were at the house a couple of weeks later, Bug King showed up unannounced to spray (as part of our service plan) because of the thaw and calls they were receiving from other homeowners in our neighborhood.
