My 75 year old mother in law has had multiple issues with this business. First her battery would…read morenot keep charged on her three year old vehicle. They kept it for two days and then told her it was just going to be that way. She would need to buy a trickle charger to be able to drive her car. Charged her several hundred for this great advice. Then against advice from family she returned to Conklin due to her air conditioning not working. They kept the vehicle for 4 hours and would not give her a ride home as a courtesy. At the end of the 4 hours they said they were not sure but would order a part to fix it. How long would the part take to come in? She asked. They replied they didn't know and they had to order it from Amazon. ????? charge of $500 Took two weeks for the part to come in. They installed it and tried the AC. The service department told her they installed the part incorrectly and burned it up. They would be ordering another part at her expense even though they are the ones who ruined the first one. The second part only took one day to arrive. Odd since the first one took weeks. She argued the responsibility of her paying for the part but they would not budge. Cost $750.00 Conklin cars seems to take advantage of elderly people. She bought this vehicle at Conklin cars new. Before I left my truck with Anderson I checked the prices at the local Ford dealership. They wanted $95.00 just to change the fuel filter! The truck was pulling to the right when I dropped my truck off. After the alignment, it tracks straight; never driven so good! Anderson Alignment and I are off to good start!
