They made the enrollment process easy and immediately put us at ease. The teachers and staff are truly some of the best people you'll ever meet. It's obvious they genuinely love what they do, and they care for the children as if they were their own. One thing that really stands out is the food--they serve healthy, well-balanced, thoughtfully planned meals each week, which gives us such peace of mind. As a parent, one of my favorite things is the communication throughout the day. Receiving pictures, updates, and little glimpses into my child's day means more than I can put into words. Those updates are such a thoughtful touch and something I truly appreciate. Like many first-time parents, I had plenty of nerves about sending my child to daycare. But Little Sunshine's quickly erased those fears. We've always felt confident that our child is safe, loved, learning, and thriving every single day! We love that they have an amazing chef (shout out to Miss Dani!) who exposes them to all kinds of healthy snacks and meals. The biggest difference that I've seen here compared to our last daycare is how present the admin team is. I see someone every morning and afternoon and I love that they know my child and I know how present they are because he knows them all by name. We've also had wonderful teachers with less turnover than we saw at our last daycare. My son talks about Miss Sarah and Miss Kim constantly and looks forward to their day. They keep such a great routine and he knows exactly what's going to happen in the morning which makes our mornings run more smoothly (if that's possible with a 2 year old).

I sent her 4 days half day the first week, and 3 days half day the second week. That's when I decided to give withdrawal notice and quit without hesitation. I'm relieved she is not there anymore, and we started in a new daycare FULL-DAY and she is already doing better, and I take her home being her normal self. We started there because the facility was supposed to be top notch. That's not the case at all. I'm relieved that my child is no longer there. The lack of care and attention is remarkable. And my kid as well other kids needs were not prioritized. It started becoming a priority only when I gave notice that my kid wasn't going back. That's when they started calling and saying "we will be more considerate of your kid crying and feelings, and we will try not to let her cray all day". And I know kids need time to adapt, but no one really genuinely helped her or took time to care. She was left to cry while laying there who knows for how long. And the app that they use to update parents and provide pictures? Forget about it. No feedback was ever provided on how her day went. Her updates were not updated, and when they were it was because I would call and ask. And even then, there were inconsistencies. For example, changes of diaper while napping, or updates about her drinking her bottle but I would go and pick her up and her bottle was still there, or that she woke up from her nap while I was literally entering the classroom and she was sleeping AGAIN. Pictures were sent only the first day, and that was it. Bottom line, they would leave her to cry and cry herself to sleep constantly. Not to talk about lies. They would constantly say she didn't cry she had a beautiful day, while the little one was still sobbing. Or the day I went to pick up her stuff, on of the directors at the entrance told me "your little one is cuddling in the classroom". My kid never went to day care that day, she was already out of there. Those are just examples, but I could go on and on. And she was there just for a very short period of time. And I already feel awful I sent her to such a horrible place. This place is not a daycare, is a money making facility. PLEASE, DO NOT SEND YOUR KID HERE. LOOK ELSEWHERE. THEY ONLY CARE ANOUT MONEY AND NOT THE CHILDREN.

This time the video games were not working and the tablets were not available to them because the workers said that they could not use them. They said the other toys were for much younger children maybe like for under. So they walked around bored the whole time. We requested that they be fed but when we picked them up they charged us for the food but my kids said they had not been fed so I told them they hadn't been said and they said that the computer listed them as fed but they did not charge us for that . The air hockey machine was broken as well so my kids could not use that. My kids said that the workers were shouting at the kids and didn't speak very kindly. At one point the kids were all shouting the f word but the workers didn't Stop them. They're also were many children and babies but only two workers watching all of them. We love the idea of drop in child care and the price is nice. It was a good experience before when there were things available for older children. But my children walked around bored the entire 2 hours we were gone and never want to go back .​

We had a not so pleasant experience with a daycare center in Smyrna where I would pick him up and it would be obvious he was not well cared for, diaper unchanged, dried snot on his face, etc., he would cry everyday I dropped him off. Little Harvard is a complete 180 from that standard of care, and I am so thankful, he walks right in and looks forward to attending each day.
