I was looking to have some serious modifications done to my jeep. a friend mentioned Built for Fun 4X4 might be just the shop I was looking for. I dropped in and was immediately impressed by the operation. It is a small shop just Sarah in front and Steve in the back doing the work. I went home thought about it for a while and decided to take the leap. It took a while to get everything ordered and in, but all good things come to those who wait. I have had my rig up in the hills on some fairly difficult trails nearly every weekend since. My rig has performed flawlessly even if I haven't.( Yes Steve I am learning to lay off the skinny pedal.) I had to take my Jeep to the dealer to have some dealer stuff done. I peaked into the shop and all the techs were under my rig looking at it. The shop supervisor came up to me and said "That is some of the best work we've ever seen." I still have a little money in one pocket so in about a month I am going back for more. Steve and Sarah fixed all of the stuff I didn't quite get right. After a bad trip to the big 4wheel shop on I-70 I definitely had issues. They sold me great product but not the right product for my rig. Steve showed me the error of my ways and now I love my jeep again. I just need sarah to quit yappin' to y wife about getting her own jeep. If I'm building 2 rigs I can't overbuild mine. This is a friendly mom-n-pop shop that cares about their customers. I broke something simple doing something dumb and Steve opened the doors, fixed it, and busted my chops for it. All on New Year's Day when NO OTHER shop would have given me a thought. Thank you guys. It continues. I break it, Steve and Sarah laugh and point (but in the way real people do) and then fix me up. I also went on a run with them and had a blast. I just had a major overhaul to my Jeep completed by Built 4 Fun 4x4. I am beyond happy with everything that was done. Working with Steve and Sarah was a great experience. Built4Fun has always done an amazing work on my Jeep. Steve and Sarah are experienced wheelers/rock crawlers and offer trustworthy advice as to what works and what does not, they have the expertise and knowledge to help me decide which projects to start with. They worked very hard to get me back on the trail when my motor went out, and had great advice when I was deciding what motor to install. Built4Fun has amazing attention to detail, when I received my JKUR back after they installed the new Hemi motor, thats right they do engine swaps too, I was astonished at how clean everything was, looked OEM. It is less common these days to get such excellent service, but 'Built 4 Fun' EXCEEDED my expectations. I wanted the work on my Jeep done right, and they delivered. Very decent and honest staff. Steve has managed to do some great things when it comes to fixing my Cherokee. I have always had great experiences. Steve is an honest guy that is extremely smart. Steve performed a 3 1/2" lift on my 2014 Jeep Rubicon, and did a great job. In addition Steve's knowledge of years off-roading that he shared with me, helped me to make the correct mods for my particular Jeep. Steve worked on my Jeep like it was his own. He is meticulous and hardworking and doesn't finish until it is done right. I worked with Steve for several weeks before the actual work was done so the mod job was well planned out and I knew exactly what I would be paying.
