Exceptionally poor communication, she did everything possible to stall and kill this transaction. From the very first attempt to contact her regarding a piece of property she was taking credit for, to almost the last day, she was inaccessible. The seller only saw her 2 times! Then, she has her 'assistant send an email to OUR lender asking if we could afford the house! We came to the table prequalified! Our lender refused to comment. Horrible experience for someone who claims to have been doing this for 20 yrs. I do not recommend this realtor at all. Stay away if want to be excited about a purchase. Our seller was angry about having to pay her for doing nothing. Oh, and she wouldn't answer her phone on the weekend. What realtor doesn't work Saturdays? Bad experience. Lied to her client about not getting an email concerning some household items we wanted to purchase, and for what? Oh, she wasn't going to make a commission on that sale. I could go on, and on. Just take my advice and find someone who wants to work for you, and not just draw a check.

Ms. Lisa Parrish did reach out and leave a voicemail, and she provided two listings. I promptly returned her call and left a voicemail but did not receive a response. I then followed up via email to ask if email would be a better form of communication. Her response was, frankly, disappointing. Despite our email thread, she replied with, "I'm assuming we have already contacted you and gave you a list," and suggested I could text her for emergencies. The reply lacked personalization, which is critical when connecting with clients. It also indicated a lack of awareness or regard for our prior interactions. As someone in marketing, this gives the impression of someone who is not fully engaged or passionate about their work. Additionally, I specifically requested in my initial email that she provide a list of other properties I might consider--this request went unanswered. Overall, I am highly disappointed in the level of professionalism demonstrated. Especially for someone who highlights ten years of experience in her bio, this experience does not reflect the client-focused service one would expect.

They do not perform background checks, income verification, rental history confirmation, or even identity verification. I hired the Chicotsky Group to list my home and screen applicants. They failed to do even the bare minimum. When I filed a complaint, they could not produce records showing they had requested even a driver's license to verify identity. Their response was that this "wasn't their responsibility." As a result, I ended up with a tenant who used a fake identity to lease my home. Because of their negligence, I can't even file a police report with Fort Worth PD. The Chicotskys refused to take responsibility and believe they "served our needs" while leaving me in a terrible situation. Do not hire them. Do not spend your money. You are not in good hands. If you're looking for a real estate firm in Fort Worth that actually protects your interests, choose League Real Estate. They provide full applicant screening--including background, identity, income, and rental history verification--through a third-party firm.
