I found the staff to be friendly and it definitely is a pretty nice supermarket, as far as supermarkets go. There is no question some good specials can be found here, but overall I think it definitely has a high price point than Pak'N'Save and Countdown. So you probably wouldn't want to make this your regular shop if you are keeping to a tight budget. If you are in the area, why not have a look. Writing this review has reminded me that I found some really good frozen dumplings when I was doing my shop here; and I haven't been able to find these at (the closer) Countdown supermarket...

Oh and if you've got a food allergy or are on some wacky diet these guys have got you covered. Not only is there an entire gluten-free section but they've got paleo this and coconut yoghurt that. It's seriously a one-stop foodie shop for all! Also impressive is their wine selection. It's not huge but they've got waaaaaay more interesting wineries than the big chains supermarkets and useful tasting notes too! They said they had lost it, they would give me a partial credit for the trouble, and deliver. I didnt like the tone of the grumpy caller! Neither hamper or credit arrived. Their bakery section is awesome, they have delicious artisan bread like Sourdough, whole grains, flat breads and a very tasty kumera bread. More often than not there is a trolly with yesterday's bread on sale. 2. They have a nice deli range of meats like pursuit and gourmet salami and while it is pricey you cannot beat the quality and taste. 3. Fresh fruit and vegetables are fantastic here. 4. They have a comprehensive aisle of gluten free and organics. Actually that is more than a couple of great points, this is a great supermarket with really friendly staff.

It's not as big and clean as the Tai Ping supermarket up the road in Mount Roskill, but you can pick up some good bargains and they even accept credit cards for payments over a certain amount ($20 or $30 I think)? Like other Chinese supermarkets, they have a separate meat and fish section, and you can buy groceries from a variety of Asian cuisines like Korean and Japanese as well as Chinese. The fresh produce is much cheaper than what you'll find in mainstream supermarkets like Countdown.

Finally, they almost always ask if you've found everything you need; don't be shy about saying if you haven't, as odds on they'll either find it for you, or offer to get it in for you. (Also, despite their address being on Dominion Rd, they don't actually have a frontage onto Dominion Road. To find them turn into Walters Road, then turn into the driveway that points to the Wendy's drive through, and they're just tucked in to your right).
