This beautiful roadside stopping point is free and has easy access via an elevated boardwalk (note: you must be able to climb up and down stairs to use it, however). It's quite breezy and chilly during the entire year, so bring a sweatshirt or sweater and you'll be more comfortable. Watch for seals and gulls and other sealife, and don't forget your camera! The view is breathtaking, and it's a great way to stretch your legs and take a little break. A recommended stop!

It can be used with a cane. This area is well contained and good for dogs to get some exercise. Since you can drive on the beach you need to watch your dog to keep them safe from on coming cars. It's clean and not too crowded. There aren't hiking trails nearby but there are bike riding ones. If you go at low tide there is plenty of space to runaround and a stream that has fresh water for pups to drink from.

If my profile says I am from someplace other than Grants Pass Oregon, it is wrong. I just don't know how to fix it. So that is an issue for Yelp.

No clear instructions for check out so I called the number that I received a text from...Tracy stated I needed to start a load of towels?? Wash all dishes? Not impressed with Vacasa at all!

An honest advertisement would say "sleeps 6 plus a couple of kids". The only way to get ten would be for two of the bedrooms to sleep three to a bed. Maybe kinda awkward. I personally ended up on a very cheap roll-a-way. Notes of admonition are posted around warning you that you will have to pay $175 if you plug up the drain or toilet. I seriously doubt that that is what the drain cleaner charges. So why so harsh? I've been in far worse places, but a few changes in the advertising and policies would go a long way to making this a great place.

Falling asleep to the sound of the crashing waves in the master bedroom is a delight. There's even a view of the ocean from the dining room table. We've come here with both a large group and a small group and it's perfect for either one. The beach below with Haystack rock is fantastic for long walks and beach combing when the water is out. It's close to Old Town Bandon, boat charters, the beach and other scenic spots. It doesn't have the amenities such as a pool, spa or golf, but when you go into the park, it has large grassy areas, lots of flowers and cute teapots decorating the wooden fence. The park is so peaceful that it is a great place to just relax. I spoke to Linda when booking who was very nice and helpful in getting the right space. They have wonderfully long pull-thru spaces giving you room to put a truck and a trailer together. The sites are not particularly wide but plenty wide for slides on each side and room to get by. There is a picnic table at the site and full hookups. There are also big beautiful trees lining the park which added to the beauty but made satellite TV impossible plus there was no cell service at site 4. This ended up making the visit more relaxing and enjoyable cutting off the stress of the world.
