The owner told me I was their first real customer! Lucky for me that I was taking a break from all the excellent Mexican food to have a taste of the USA, because it was awesome. They are nailing it here. The burger I had ("Get Shorty"), made with wine-braised short-rib and caramelized onions, was fantastic, as were the sweet potato fries. Apparently their idea is to serve authentic American-style burgers with a purist approach to the beef. This place reminds me a bit of burger places in London, in the sense that they are actually making burgers that are superior to, rather than representative of, most burger restaurants at home.
