This location has been home to a number of Italian resturants over the years, some lasting longer than others. Though not on the high street, this is the first restaurant you pass when walking into Rickmansworth from the tube station. Fairly small and well decorated, I recommend getting a window seat for people watching, though it can be a little draughty near the door.
It seems fairly popular, which is odd, because the food is bad. I have been in mutiple times, usually using their 2 courses for £9.99 offer. After the first time I swore never to go back, then I gave them a second chance, and now I know i'll never ever return.
Their mozerella croccante, deep fried dough covered mozerella, tasted only of the oil it'd been fried in and was impossible to finish. It made me feel ill simply because it just tasted of grease. The pizza was quite doughy, and the flavour was...strange to be honest.
Considering how many Italian restaurants are in Rickmansworth, hedge your bets and try one of the others, don't go to this one. read more
