The meat was seasoned to perfection and really allowed for the natural beef flavor to come through. There are tons of great options at Spitalfield's and this is probably one of the best spots. I'm a big fan of the Honest Burgers chain. Pretty much their entire food menu is gluten-free; all you need to do is swap out a regular bun for a gluten-free one. The prices are also really reasonable, especially for London. My food cost a little more than it would have done compared to my local Honest Burgers in Manchester. The restaurant is over two floors, the main seating area is downstairs however, on the ground level, there is a large bar with bar-style seating - ideal for a quick lunch, and there is also an outdoor seating area - ideal once in a blue moon when we get some half decent weather in this country. I did find it unusual to hear that they are closed on Sundays, although there are plenty of other Honest Burgers restaurants within walking distance as an alternative. They were quiet on my visit, though, so perhaps this location appeals more to office workers looking to grab a quick lunch than typical diners. They do add a service charge onto the bill here; however, this is the case at all other Honest restaurants and pretty much everywhere in London - a practice I don't agree with, as I feel it should be the customer's to decide how much they want to tip - if at all!
