Great dermatologist. Answers all your questions and explains procedures thoroughly. Expect to wait however as scheduling issues abound.

This office is overwhelmed. We drove 45 minutes to our appointment and have waited over 30+ minutes…read moreto see the doctor each time. The waiting room is crowded and unpleasant. At our last visit, folks were left to stand the entire time we waited. When approached about chairs and seating, office staff was rude and unprofessional. The Delmarva desperately needs Dermotologists.

I saw Dr Burke. I had a problem. I hadn't had a skin check in a year so asked for that too since I…read morewas there for my problem already. I was asked to stand in the room nearly naked with an assistant of some kind standing on one side of the room and the doctor on the other. Not sure how far...2 feet? 3 feet?...She viewed my skin from a distance and said it was fine. Then she turned to leave the room, walking towards the door. I said what about my problem...the reason I was there....and she turned back. Looked at it. I can't remember the outcome of that actually. I got the impression I was in a factory and that she wanted to squeeze in as many skin checks....which if you have ever had your skin checked you know her version of a skin check needs to be addressed....as she could. I didn't check but wish I had to look at the EOB from my insurance company to see how much money she made on looking at me across a room. And 2 things you need to know. Every inch of your skin needs to be checked when it is checked. Melanoma is NOT dependent on the sun to be created. You are entitled to dignity while being examined. There are so few dermatologists in Salisbury. I can't remember exactly but I don't think dermatology was her specialty initially....maybe she was an internist turned dermatologist? not sure. It might save your life to drive to Annapolis. You are worth it. PS The wait was over an hour. I don't like her. I would never go back.
