Law enforcement has a very low bar to pass for probable cause, yet the military judge was swayed by the well thought out written brief and oral arguments made during the hearing. The Command wanted to proceed with a court martial anyways and Sam successfully negotiated non judicial punishment and a retirement. This led to an honorable discharge that I am convinced was assisted by Sam's expert editing of the letters and documents I had to submit. That complete, the government requested a civilian agency prosecute my case. They agreed and after a protracted negotiation, Sam convinced them to drop all charges. Sam is an amazing!
