I was permitted to book an appointment with this office less than three days ago. I was confirmed for that appointment less than 24 hours ago. To be told at 7 AM this morning when I walk into the office, but they no longer accept my insurance their office never notified me and as a patient of almost 20 years, I could pay out-of-pocket to see my doctor or basically go screw. You can imagine how that could be physically upsetting so when I never threatened anybody in the office and never used any foul language, but was visibly crying, trying to advocate for myself because I would love to know if I'm walking around with pneumonia As I'm working it out or thinking I am with the office manager being told that they dropped the ball and it's their fault. I have poor Suffolk County police officers walk up behind me to escort me out when I was never asked to leave, but to the contrary, asked to hang tight while they figured out what they could do for me. To treat a patient who is begging for medical care as a criminal while you lead her to believe that you think you're helping her just to leave Heard a law-enforcement is quite honestly disgusting and despicable. I'm reporting the entire facility to the medical board. And they just lost multiple patients who have been their decades before Catholic health ever decided to slap their name on that building and they were just a mom and Pop family medicine place. She sounded completely nuts!!! YELLING and SCREAMING" THIS IS an EMERGENCY line. Over and over and over. Remind you. Right after the crazy phone call. I went to check on the website. So, I let it go and the stupid I am- I came back, thinking my son had a well visit. LITERALLY, every time I came. There was NO well visit. YOU CANT come in for a SICK visit either. ONLY shot visits. And babies screaming. Im convinced this pediatrician I'm sorry- is just a VACCINE mill. All they want to do is make money on shots ! Every visit was and continued to be "CONFUSED" for a SHOT visit. and only see the dr once a year because your not BOOKED for a well visit. They're "doing you a favor" fitting you in. Just a SHOT visit lol. Crazy. ANOTHER THING----They tried to charge me for "SHOT REFUSAL" whoever came up with this FEE in the office seriously has some issues. Wait, your going to charge me for not wanting to get a shot? That makes no sense. Is it Probably because you can't BILL my insurance company for a shot ??? That's the only reason I can think of. IT IS NUTS. , if this is happening to you. Don't let your kid suffer like this.. they don't care. It's really cold that every time I had taken my child here I was told these things.
