I retained NiCale for a bankruptcy and things went well until I checked my credit report as she recommends I noticed my vehicle was included in the filing which was a mistake. I reviewed my forms to verify, although I distinctly remembered discussed keeping my ONLY vehicle. I was hoping to use my good payment history with the car to rebuild my credit because I have 3 years left to pay! I contacted NiCale's office about this immediately and was told my lender didn't provide a necessary form and it could be corrected for an attorney fee AND additional filing fee. I was puzzled because it wasn't my mistake, and the attorney's JOB for which she was already paid to be sure things were correct the first time. I contacted my lender and spoke to their attorney and I can keep my vehicle but it's not going to be reflected on my credit report as anything positive. I would not recommend NiCale to anyone as she has refused to accept accountability for the mistake and I feel like she's trying to swindle more money out of me to fix the problem. This problem still isn't fixed and I'm not getting credit for continuing payment on my car.

Does that make us bad Grandparents? She also said she felt I was being "less than truthful" with her - how did she get that in one 20 minute meeting? Anyone who knows me will tell you that I am very truthful and can't stand Liars, cheats or Thieves! She didn't reveal or disqualify herself even though my ex son-in-law was giving her nephews baseball hitting & pitching lessons. She used her family members (a former classmate of my daughter) Facebook page to stalk my daughters PRIVATE Facebook page. Claiming my daughter hated her ex. Really? It's a divorce/custody case, imagine that! She wrote in her Guardian Ad Litem report that during her visit to my daughters house that she noted magazines on the bottom shelf of the aquarium stand. Magazines?! That there were cracker crumbs on the carpet where my then 3 yr old grandson had just been snacking (she saw him) & watching cartoons. She claimed my daughter was difficult to schedule an appointment with. But nothing about it being due to my daughter working for a hospital in Muncie and no available PTO hours due to court issues. How willing my ex son-in-law was to schedule (he was unemployed). Those are the only things she wrote in her report about my daughter & our family. However, her opinion of my daughters ex was glowing! No mention of his lengthy unemployment, living in a high-end rental in Fishers with his then girlfriend that neither had the income to support & were evicted 4 months later owing $28k in unpaid rent. Nor did she mention their 3 other evictions and/or bankruptcies. No vehicles/insurance in their names, multiple judgements all public info that she DID NOT research or did not feel the need to include in her report - I guess that info wasn't as important as magazines on the bottom of an aquarium. Finally, when questioned on the witness stand she admitted that she HAD NOT done her job as a Guardian Ad Litem due to taking care of a ill family member and farm. Funny, she still billed my daughter $700. This is all public info and can be proven through court transcripts.

She may be great. But I can assure you this is a deviant character with zero integrity bereft of any morality or principle and am very confident I made the correct choice in asking for a refund. she in my opinion, effectively stole 2k from me in 16 after-business hours and claimed to be reviewing documents when she absolutely categorically demonstrably was not. AVOID AT ALL COST!! Keep looking! Complaints will be made with appropriate channels. Also, my refund was supposedly processed at around 4 pm last Friday, and is still not hit my account. Despite Mrs furguson understanding the urgency. Again, no idea how well she advocates in court but can say with confidence this person lacks integrity is void of anything that resembles decency or a beating heart, and in my view my experience with this person was nothing short of theft. You've been warned.

Someone else had to take my documents and copy them and meet with me to discuss details. The meeting with the creditors via Zoom, Dana was not there. Someone else from the firm was there in her place. I have had to send multiple emails when I had questions, many often resulted in me having to call the law office instead and leave a message with one of the staff members. I believe the paralegals did more for my case than she did. I had a big concern about my vehicle. I could not afford to lose it due to being on Social Security Disability. It was financed through a credit union who refused to do just the affirmation on the car. They wanted to tack on a credit card and a loan. She didn't even fight for me. Now I'm stuck using my brother's truck which I can barely get in and out of because it is too high off the ground. My vehicle was perfect for my mobility issues. I feel screwed. Bankruptcy is not a decision that anyone should take lightly, I certainly didn't. It makes you feel like a failure. No one should feel worse because they have a crummy attorney.

I actually had 33 rolls but there was one that they could not develop, an old disc from a disc camera. I was immediately greeted as I walked in and he told me my options for getting them developed and also what the cost would be. The shop is a very nice shop and has many examples of their work inside. They also have a shop dog and he is very friendly he will also let you know he has treats down on the end of the counter :) When I went to pick up my photos they were very nicely packaged in their envelopes and all of the envelopes were in boxes. I also dropped off 140 slides to have them printed. When I picked up the slides they were also nicely packaged and I had a disc of them and a couple of boxes that contained all of the prints. I am very happy with the service provided and will look to them in the near future to build an album of some old pictures.

Deeply Disappointing Experience - Proceed with Caution…read more My oldest sister solely and secretively engaged attorney Chris Jeter for estate planning, expecting fairness and professionalism for my parents who didn't even make the request. Instead, the documents he produced placed one sibling (my sister) in sole control of everything (trustee, executor, power of attorney, health care decisions) while sidelining the others. This structure ran completely counter to my parents' clearly stated wishes for equal treatment among their three children. Even more troubling, Jeter continued with a meeting despite my father (who is 90 years old) twice stating he did not want to proceed. That total disregard for my father and mother left us with the impression that one sibling's agenda was prioritized over our parents' actual voice not to mention borderline elder abuse and coercion. My father was angry when forced into a Zoom meeting by Jeter, my sister and her second husband. The documents he created also contained red flags: "Gift equalization" language that could be used to reclassify legitimate loans as gifts. Waivers of bond and reporting, removing normal safeguards and accountability. No checks or balances, essentially consolidating all authority into one person's hands. Estate planning should protect families and reflect the true intent of the clients. In our case, these drafts would have increased conflict and stripped away fairness. I was so concerned by his conduct that I filed a complaint with the Indiana Supreme Court Disciplinary Commission. I cannot recommend this attorney and urge others seeking balanced estate planning to look elsewhere.
