Don't see how this place makes business. Shelfs empty in back,,foreign outdated snack foods taking up spaces instead. Felt like I was in some other country. Clothes on dirty floor. Not to mention where are the clothes for 2025? Style, looked from 1998. To many spaces where coats should be. Where are the coats? No workers to ask questions only a guard watching the doors. But there's nothing worth stealing? First time in 30 years I spent 10 minutes in a department store. You have better luck at the thrift store. read more

I was treated rudely by a cashier and 'manager' at this location. They ganged up on me slinging insults at me for a simple even exchange. They could not clearly answer my question regarding the exchange and when I pressed for a good reason they both became confrontational, playing off each other, and yelling at me to leave the store without finishing the return and yelling at me to go to another Burlington store. I will not return. And I have told everyone I know to stay out of that store! They really don't know how to handle customer situations and need to be trained to realize when the customer is right. Burlington Corporate needs a to do a staff overhaul for this location or close it all together! read more

This store has no problem with the merchandise or the shoppers, but may have the worst work ethic I've ever seen. There was 1 register open the entire time I waited in line ON BLACK FRIDAY. Why are there 8 registers installed if only one person is going to man them? I am appalled Burlington. You have good deals, but why does it even matter. There was a loss prevention worker at the door. It's like they are baiting people to steal from here. If this business truly wanted to prevent loss they would get more people out the door quicker with their items. They have a fairly large selection and some decent deals, but it's so poorly organized and ran that I don't have much desire to return. When there's a line that zigzags 3 times and you only have 2 cashiers going at a leisurely pace, I'm not sure how necessary it is to have a dressing room attendant in the back of the store. Especially when there is a dressing room at the front that's within the eyes of the cashiers, yet that one, I was told with yell, was closed for some reason. If you've ever been to a Gabe's, this gives the same lowkey depressing vibes. read more

me and my mom went to go shopping for some things for our new home. there was a certain employee named Mikey. as soon as we walked in he was at the front and he looked at my 52 year old mom and told her she looked like a milf and that he would "tap" that. my mom was extremely disturbed that she started hysterically crying. he then proceeded to laugh at her and they walk away. I was so shocked and disturbed and didn't know what to do so we immediately left after. i don't know what possesed him to say such a horrible thing to an elderly but he for sure can't be doing that and needs to face some consequence!! read more

I am glad this location created a yelp page so that I can finally leave my review. A year ago I went to the store with my then 8 year old daughter. After about 5 minutes in the store she had to go to the bathroom so we left the only merchandise we had picked up (a heating pad I grabbed) on a rack outside of the bathroom. I had on a tight The North Face hoodie and leggings and my daughter had on a one piece jumpsuit with no pockets and a small coach crossbody purse for reference. Not 30 seconds after my daughter and I entered the empty bathroom does an associate burst in the door and yell "Merchandise can't come in the bathroom" I looked at her bewildered she said "excuse me?" The associate then said "oh I thought I saw someone bring merchandise in" I simply responded "no" and the associate walked out. About two minutes later my daughter was finished washing her hands and we come out to three (white women) associates at the door who started surrounding and following us. From there I asked for a manager (another white woman) who said she's sorry for our experience but we were not being followed. It's 100% not a coincidence we were surrounded outside of that bathroom and it was absolutely racial profiling. And to accuse an 8 year old of stealing from a bargain bin store is extremely insulting. I will NEVER patronize this location again and if you are a black personal or POC please stay away. I will be following up with corporate as well so they know just how discriminatory and disgusting the staff are who work at this location. read more

After seeing tons of videos posted about the discriminatory practices: our team put it to the test. We were told about white women recieving larger discounts on damaged items; about the numerous times white people ran out of the store w several armfuls of items because they were so busy following Black people. We sent in a white person, a Hispanic family and myself (BW). The white person was able to hide several items on their person and in a huge handbag and was never followed. The Hispanic family was being watched but not followed closely. As the aforementioned PoC mentioned: I was followed around this location, wherever I went there were 3 women following me closely, I have the recordings of them talking on their devices and the way all three of us were treated!! Sending to corporate and local news. I spent $300 and asked for discount on same damaged item another cx sent to us in a video of her receiving 50% off- and was given $1.50 off! When I first came in no one was at the door and upon checkout there were 2 white women plus an added one at the door! I had so many items that I tried to take the cart out of the store-not knowing they locked- to load up vehicle and they weren't the least bit helpful (they seemed a bit salty tbh) watching me struggle to maneuver they just yelled out can't take the cart out! I had on a MK Coat ($385), MK wallet($199), and a mask ($1.99)- no where to hide or steal anything-unlike my white employee!! The items I had on individually exceeded the cost of any single item in the store. When the Hispanic family left the store- the lady at door was no where in the cameras FOV! Unbelievable experience! Tested at two other locations and there were totally different practices! If any of us were followed-it was done the traditional way: w their security cameras. read more
