I would think Loblaws would be trying to, improve customer service and consumer satisfaction in light of all the negative publicity but ....maybe not in Lindsay. Very disappointed with the service and ultimately had to contact another business for help with my order. Do better Loblaws !!!

When scanning the items at the cash the price did not match so the employee called for help and after minutes of waiting she walked over to the promo sections and the tag was now removed. She would not match the price that I saw and clearly the items were in the promo sections so she removed them. I feel I cannot trust the pricing here now and they do not honour good customer experience. It'a not about item, because I really don't need it, but the fact that the pricing was a lie and I don't trust the store now.

There have been occasions where the head lettuce is terrible and I go to Sobeys and buy my fresh produce as I can always count on getting what I want there. I appreciate that the store is kept clean and the staff is pleasant. A big thanks to the lady in the bakery who went over and above to get some chocolate chip cookies for me.

Got sick of making purchases here and then finding the exact same items for as much as 4 dollars less at Superstore! This is for regular priced pc brand items, not items on sale. The latest issue was Morello's showed product on sale on their website; however, when I went to the store the price was different. The next day the price online was still showing on sale so I phoned and was told the item just went on sale that day (?) and would be on sale for the next seven days. Five days later the price had changed again. It not only was not on sale anymore, but had increased in price over and above the regular pricing. I called again and was simply told 'well that is the price then'. I am on a fixed income and pricing matters to me. That being said, I don't mind paying a little more for a better shopping experience; although, walking out of a store that leaves me feeling like I have just been ripped off is not the experience I am looking for. This is not an isolated incident with this store. I have experienced other head scratching issues over the past few years. This is just the last one I feel like shrugging off. Unfortunately I am now done shopping here. If it doesn't matter to you how much items cost, then you should be happy purchasing your groceries at Morello's. As I mentioned, the store is clean and the people are friendly. Too bad they leave you feeling like you don't matter at all to them.

They also have short-dated items for cheap. Like big bags of Takis Chips that were 1 month past their best before date for $0.25 (4 for $1). Peterborough is so lucky to have not one, but two Grocery Outlet stores. I wish Ottawa could get one, lol. The closest one to Ottawa is the one in Brockville, and this one in Peterborough has much more selection than the one in Brockville. Free parking available.

The sales on the cases of pop are really good as well. I have shopped here for years and have yet to be disappointed. The customer service is great and I like going here at gardening time to purchase my tomato and pepper plants. They have a full area outside with a well stocked variety of plants during the summer months. I recommend checking this store out if you haven't done so, you will be surprised at how much bang for your buck you really can get!

From the start the staff was so helpful! Jackie and Margaret in bakery had everything ready for me labelled and fresh as can be. They even helped me to my car with it. Jess at front end helped with the floral as what I wanted would not come in on time. She made a phone call and Farmboy in Pickering shipped the flowers to the Whitby store. wow. Ended up grabbing a few bags of chips, along with other snack items. I also grabbed an incredible freshly baked croissant from the bakery next door, so good!! Could have spent a lot more time in here browsing/drooling but alas the lake (and my trunk full of booze!) were calling! Until next time!
