The pizza was also a contender for the favourite, the dough is so good, there's a satisfying crunch to it and just amazing when you add some chilli flakes. We dined in the covered patio this time and it was nice to feel a little breeze come through by my legs. The inside where we dined last time was also really cozy. The grocery area closes at six on Sundays so we didn't get to peruse the aisles this time but some good finds there too! Service was also great, our server was attentive and nice.

When unpacked, the meat was discovered to be vacuum packed and was grayish and somewhat slimy. Although the odour was not "off", the meat felt "unsafe" to eat resulting in a stressful last minute change of menu. On Jan 3, I followed up with Lisa at Franz's, who was rude and unprofessional. I then received a call from Ryan, who was much more professional. I was advised that all Rouladen meat had been frozen and put in the fridge the night prior to pickup. I had not been told that the meat would be frozen when ordering, nor at the time of pickup, as I had wanted fresh meat for our special occasion. I finally asked for a refund but have had no response as yet. Disappointed and sadly will look elsewhere in the future.
