When I bought my home a year ago, I hadn't had the crawl space checked--and it turned out there were some serious issues. They replaced the old flexible dryer ducting with rigid steel, re-secured the crawl space insulation with Polly string, insulated all the copper water lines, and even enlarged a bedroom window opening. Our lake cabin is about 90 years old, and was looking pretty rundown from the years of winter snow and wind. The paint was cracked and porch wood weathered. Devin of Burrell Construction rebuilt broken windows, lifted the house which was sagging, powerwashed the entire cabin and porch, and painted it so excellently that it could be on the cover of a magazine. The white walls and dark green outlining of windows are lined to perfection. It looks like a new cabin. Devin was very conscientious with every step, checking in with us to okay things being done. He fixed many things that the original builders had done in error or insufficiently and helped us get back on track. He was great at communicating next steps, price estimates, and where everything was at with our project. Showed up and told me he would give me the bid by that evening or the next morning then it turned into the next afternoon, and I still never got my bed and he never called me back, and I could never get a hold of him again so lack of contact shows lack of integrity. I would not recommend this company for reliability. read more
