But although Burton are never going to set the earth alight with excitement, they do have a good range of stuff for men, and if you're just looking for a fairly simple shirt or jumper or something and aren't looking for a designer name then it's perfectly adequate. Quality is again, adequate, as are the prices. Burton do have some pretty good sales bargains from time to time, and my hubby has had shirts for £3, tshirts for a quid and the likes so it's worth a look if you're on a budget.

The customer service so far has been excellent and I am pleased to say they have my custom for formal suit hire. I am very impressed with Burtons and will now become a regular customer - their shoes are also excellent quality too I can vouch for that!

This store is a decent size, it isn't up there with the biggest Primark locations in Birmingham and Manchester, being over just two floors, but it is pretty decent for the location as extra amenities such as a branded coffee shop and other "interesting" factors aren't needed as they basically have it all nearby within the centre anyway. For a Primark store, the store was pretty spacious, making it more pleasant to get around and shop compared to other locations. The store was pretty bright and modern, and although it differed to the colour scheme and layout to the stores in the North East, Birmingham and other stores around the country, it still felt pretty modern and of course, with any Primark store, the prices are pretty decent and affordable too. There is a lot more choice then in the city centre and has more sizes. There are loads of clothes for ladies to pick and choose from, handbags and accessories to underwear. The quality is average sometimes a bit poor on some items but its to be expected. Upstairs there is a small home wear section, mainly bedding and cushions. There is a good shoe selection, including leather shoes. The men's wear is ok but not as good as the ranges available for women. Also the children's wear is great for clothes for boys and girls. The prices are cheap and the clothes are on trends and keeps up with the likes of topshop. The staffs are a mixed bunch with some being really friendly to others that don't even speak to you at the tills, but really you only go in there for the cheap clothes not the customer services. The store is kept tidy, the rails do get a bit messy on busy days but there are plenty of staff trying to tidy them up. It is also horrible to go in on a Saturday or Sunday at peak times as its heaving and you can't get round properly. Also there are queues but these do go down fairly quickly.

It starts with "oh it'd be a shame to walk past without having a look" soon followed by "I guess there'd be no harm in just trying on a few things" which of course leads to me dragging half of the shop to the fitting room, and ultimately concludes with my debit card being handed over at the till. I cannot resist! The selection of clothes here is just fabulous. Whenever I go to Cow I always take a bucket-full into the fitting room with me, but I'm normally only left with a few things I actually like, however in Sheffield I faced the dilemma of wanting to buy everything I'd picked up - oh dear! This of course, could be purely coincidental. But I like to think it's the result of some clever work going on behind the scenes. Furthermore, the actual amount of selection seems spot on. What I mean is, it's not overwhelmingly cluttered, but neither is it overly selective with not much choice. As for the layout, that seems to strike the balance also. It is neither rough, ready and warehouse-esque (like Birmingham Cow) nor overly generic/high-street (Manchester Cow) i.e. it's totally user friendly whilst retaining its individual quirk. Right on! Pricing here seems to be very reasonable also, most dresses coming in around the £15 mark. I managed to bag myself a minidress and a pair of dungarees for £30 - scwhing. Hmmm what else? Oh...attractive retail assistants? Always a plus.

When you walk in it does not feel like a vintage/2nd hand shop because of the layout and the clothes are like new. To the left of the entrance, sterling silver is showcased at ridiculously cheap prices. This is the only item that they sell new. Everything is catagorised really well too, all the bags together , dresses in one, skirts in another..I managed to pick up a real italian leather skirt for £18! Unfortunately the lining got caught in the zip and ripped ever so slightly so the shopkeeper reduced it to a further £16! I am not sure where/ how they souce their clothing, but even their website is porfessional looking; and even certain clothes are modelled. What is different is that most clothes stores are independent business selling unique fashion items. This store sells high quality clothing for woman and child. It has a large shop full of dresses, jackets and pants. The prices are cheap and affordable and good quality too. There is no reason not to shop here, as you are going to save yourself loads of money and the money is cheap too.
