However, less than 20 minutes later, I received a text providing me with a price list and fees for services. I was not in need of chair and table rentals until 1/4/25, but I wanted to put in a reservation for the items needed well in advance. Every time I contacted Gkew Rentals, Mr. Askew responded immediately. On the day of the event, he was on time and waited patiently as I handled an issue with the venue for him to deliver the items needed. Once he and his very pleasant helper dropped off the chairs, he saw that I needed help bringing in items from my car. He offered to help bring in my items as well, which was above and beyond what he needed to do. Due to the delay of my event starting, I reached out to him to request if he could come one hour later to pick up the rentals. Again, he accommodated my needs without any hassle. During the time that I placed an order with them, I tried to communicate with them using all of their social media platforms, and again, never received any type of reply. I also stated in one of my emails/msgs, that when calling their place of business, no one answers, and you're unable to messages due to the voicemail box being full. I was told I'd be refunded for my order which they claim was done, but my bank said otherwise and the only response I received in regards to the matter was, "Check with your bank, it was done a long time ago." Not once was there any type of apology or empathy shown. This was all for my son's 6th birthday, and if it came down to me counting on them for what I needed, his day would have been ruined. This company's lack of customer service/support is horrible, and I WILL NEVER spend my hard earned money with them again!!
